@@georgesr8979 agree, but Rudiger has reached a certain age he probably never expected. The only thing he can do is to keep work hard and do what he does best, untill that call came. It's like a dream come true out of the blue. Now he is in Madrid, you can see he is super motivated and showed many times he is worth it. He should've been there 10 years ago.

rudiger is so smart so calm minded never looks worried on the ball never looks scared to defend anyone 1 on 1

Toni is easily on top 3 list this season. I challenge you to name two or more that are performing better than him on the highest level possible. He barely makes a mistake. He is mentally present all the time. Juggernaut in the back line!

I had not seen Rudiger taking a penalty until City-RM QFs. But when TV showed the last taker was him, I told my gf: "we have won, I trust this man as you wouldn't believe". When Cristiano was about to kick the penalty, you were 95% sure it would be in. But Rudiger that night was a 100%, he changed the atmosphere with his sole presence.

It’s the shirt and the badge that got him to the next level. Like Jude Bellingham said, you feel like a superhero when you put the Real Madrid shirt on.
