The reason Australia’s green transition is ‘slower than anticipated’

Grattan Institute Energy Program Director Tony Wood reveals the main reason why Australia’s transition to renewable energy is proving to be “slower" than anticipated.
Mr Wood joined Sky News Australia to discuss the Grattan Institute’s new report on Labor’s “ad hoc” and “uncoordinated” net zero strategy.
“The regulatory processes of getting approval for wind and solar farms is very slow,” he said.
“It’s much slower than it should have been - at the same time, it’s all getting more expensive.
“So, that is the main reason why this is proving to be a difficult and slower transition than what had been anticipated.”

These wind turbines have been used in many countries for a couple decades now and nothing amazing to speak of. I also heard they can't store the power so if the wind turbines aren't moving than no power from that source.

It's not difficult in UK, Europe and China. Why is it so hard in Australia
