Apparently multiple cover versions were released at the same time in the US. People couldn't agree on a single popular version and so it never became a hit there.

@@wendycadogan-charles-beame4358 The one with the afro left the group in early 90's. He died in 2000. The 3 here are main singer Chris Amoo, Eddie Amoo guy on the left (his brother) died 2018. The other is Dave Smith who is still performing with Chris.

Write all these years, he still sounds so clear and crisp. What a voice. Love this song. Made a video for my son first year birthday with this song. He is 14 years old now. I work late into the early morning hours. I still tuck him into bed as he tends to kick off his blanket in the middle of the night. Love that little boy.

Who is dancing to this during this Covid thing....I was born up in Liverpool and now live in London. Was there 2 years ago for my Summer Hols and came here to 2 concerts. So much fun with the crowd....friendly, fun and dancing. Nothing like it !!!

I heard this song for the first time tonight and instantly was hooked. Great writing, great melody, original and catchy. This is definitely a gem.

I love this song.... I won't ever forget the beautiful rhythm of this song. One of my top 5 favorites. How I wish we can still hear songs like this in today's generation.

One of my most wonderful music experiences live. The did an impromptu event at Butlins when the came back on to Centre Stage after being there earlier in the evening saying we have had a great time listening to the others we just want to do are set again! Butlins could not stop them! Brilliant just there for the music
