Sometimes the Quran uses words of expression sleeping means does not mean they sleeep literally , the caves people are not aware of what is going on outside world . Many stories been told bout cave people in certain countries where they carve and design so many rooms inside the caves . We should not always try to understand everything literally bcoz God communicate to us sometimes in our dreams using expressions and symbols . This is why we need Learned people like Imam Mahdi .

The definition of Ashab Al-Kahf is only available in the 9th verse of Surah Al-Kahf. How many years they slept is only available in the 25th verse of Surah Al-Kahf. "They stayed in the cave for 300 years, and added 9." (300 solar years = 309 lunar years) There are 309 words from the word Kahf (Cave) in verse 9 to the end of verse 25. (SubhanÂLLAH) This book is 14 centuries old and there are dozens of harmonies like it. The Holy Quran challenges and invites to faith.

Here is how: 1. Why is it said “we put weight on their ears”: Because gravity is enormously increased. 2. Why it is said that “if you saw them you would be afraid and run away”: High gravity causes Bilateral Facial Paralysis because the nerves to the face pass through the inner ear. Why it's called "you think they are awake, but they're asleep": They're sleeping in a coma due to high gravity, but due to bilateral paralysis, the eyes remain open, showing only all white. 4. Why is it said "we would turn them left and right": The centrifugal force provided by this turning partially balances the increased gravity, or otherwise they would be crushed to death. (at a rate near a hundred thousand rpm) 5. Why “when they think we've slept for a few hours, it's actually 300 years outside”: Increasing the gravity slows the time. This is Einstein's Relativity. 6. This gives us a safe technical solution as opposed to untested and fictitious cryogenic sleep.

Why don't you recite the actual story that was written over hundreds before Mohammed heard it and twisted it.

Noteworthy: "Allah will complete his light. No matter who says what or does what. Either with us or without us. He doesn't need us to complete his light, but we need to be part of it. As this light is completed for our salvation."

This video has made it clear why this surah holds importance in connection to protection from dajjal. Thank you. Keep educating us more. May Allah bless the creators.

@@user-dz8zc6fx6n let me show you your confusion: The theory is not the gravity, gravity is real fact. If you want to try it, go to a high bridge and jump. The theory is about the way how gravity works, as we have not yet found how it works nor we can combine this theory with the quantum physics. Hope you understand the difference now.

So lets do a small recap.... the story is about 7 Christians and allegedly a dog that run away from Roman prosecution of Christians, and they slept for ~300 years - and that is a miracle made by God/Allah to save them (Christians) from prosecution... and you call yourself, a believer... while calling them pagans... hmmm...

Are you aware that this was a well-know pre-Islamic Christian legend (Sleepers of Ephesus, the earliest version of this story comes from the Syriac bishop Jacob of Serugh, c. 450-521, which is itself derived from an earlier Greek source) that Muhammad adopted? The original legend has more details (like that there were exactly 7 of them) which were lost in the early oral traditions and hence the story appears several times in the Quran with different details. In the original story, when they came out there were crosses on buildings and the Roman Empire was Christians, Muhammad of course omits this part of the story.

The original legend has more details (like that there were exactly 7 of them) which were lost in the early oral traditions and hence the story appears several times in the Quran with different details. In the original story, when they came out there were crosses on buildings and the Roman Empire was Christians, Muhammad of course omits this part of the story. The point of this Christian legend was the affirmation of the resurrection, as they believed Jesus was resurrected.

@@saeedasheikh715 Uzair (عليه السلام) was a Prophet of Allah (ﷻ) who lived a long time ago. I'm not sure which era he lived in. Always remember one thing! Every single Prophet of Allah ﷻ will spread the message of Islam (Submission to Allah). Islam has always been the religion of humanity. The first human being was a Muslim (Adam عليه السلام). Here is the story of Uzair (عليه السلام): _"Or ˹are you not aware of˺ the one who passed by a city which was in ruins. He wondered, “How could Allah bring this back to life after its destruction?” So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years then brought him back to life. Allah asked, “How long have you remained ˹in this state˺?” He replied, “Perhaps a day or part of a day.” Allah said, “No! You have remained here for a hundred years! Just look at your food and drink-they have not spoiled. ˹But now˺ look at ˹the remains of˺ your donkey! And ˹so˺ We have made you into a sign for humanity. And look at the bones ˹of the donkey˺, how We bring them together then clothe them with flesh!” When this was made clear to him, he declared, “˹Now˺ I know that Allah is Most Capable of everything.”_ _Quran {2: 259}_ May Allah ﷻ grant you knowledge, sr Saeeda.

If you had watched the video before commenting, they literally mention within the 1st minute that nobody knows their exact number, and it's not important to know their exact numbers. Mind Blowing how quickly you jumped to the conclusion. The name 7 sleepers are mentioned in the Bible which is why it is it could be mentioned there, so perhaps maybe Christians and Jews get intrigued to see the video as well.

The title problem would solve if they watch the video, but the problem in rushes into judgment after reading the title alone is a higher magnitude. If you say the title should change so the people who take the fact from the title alone would misunderstand, then I agree. It's never about this Muslim or that Muslim.

They were christians who had the original uncorrupt bible, thats why they are real believers

Right. In many cases, but in this particular one, we know that this was a well-know pre-Islamic Christian legend (Sleepers of Ephesus, the earliest version of this story comes from the Syriac bishop Jacob of Serugh, c. 450-521, which is itself derived from an earlier Greek source) that Muhammad adopted. The original legend has more details (like that there were exactly 7 of them) which were lost in the early oral traditions and hence the story appears several times in the Quran with different details. In the original story, when they came out there were crosses on buildings and the Roman Empire was Christians, Muhammad of course omits this part of the story. So, the Quran is clearly adopting this story but you say that it is without forgery and gives correct info - not only is it not correct, it's also quoting a man-made legend.

@@uthman2281 Some of it is true - like the Quran, the Bible contains some factual information about things that happened but it also contains many "beliefs" that the followers had about people like Noah or Jesus, which are not true. Both are man-made texts which contain ancient ideas, morals, ethics and incorrect scientific views such as creation stories - both talk of the universe being made in a few days for example, which is most certainly not true, so followers today come up with creative re-interpretations of these things which had a very simply meaning back then. We have seriously improved our moral and ethics from the Bronze Age thinking found in those books. ANY religious texts which use words like fight or kill against people are surely man-made, no? Unless you think that there is some cruel god who wants us to follow him, and kill in his name...

You can't say just because some stories sound similar that they're wrong because of that. Second, regarding the mosque in Jerusalem, I say the following. The term can mean a mosque or a place of prayer, so the claim that there was no mosque at the time of Mohammed is also unfounded.

The point of this Christian legend was the affirmation of the resurrection, as they believed Jesus was resurrected. It's a man-made tale to make a theological point.

It was in actually 137 AD. The people of the cave were following the teachings of Jesus the messiah. They lived in ancient Greek city Philadelphia situated on the Agean sea nowadays turkey.

Actually im having a confusion also when i read the history and thinking does God actually create different sect of religion ie Judaism / Christianity/Islam??? GOD NEVER WRONG.. HE NEVER confuse us with different kind of monotheistic religion but the human beings are... Turns out i found out Islam means submission to the will of God.. even before Judaism and Christianity comes, the previous prophet brings the same message.. to submit and believe in One God.. if Judaism / Christianity believing in One God they will be considered as muslim.. but in fact they have violate the message becoz Judaism claims the messenger for the monotheistic religion is exclusively shud be from Bani Israil descendent only and they didnt want to accept the message from Muhammad (Bani Quraisy) that islam is the true religion. In fact Muhammad the last messenger that conveys the message of Islam FOR ALL HUMAN BEING REGARDLESS OF THEIR DESCENDENTS meanwhile some of Christian claims Jesus to be son of God.. which deviates the true message of Oneness of God.. i think the solution is that why not all of us just recognize that God is One and He is the Creator for all.. instead of the EGO to maintain monotheism religion so exclusive for certain descendants (Judaism) or to believe a human being as part of God / Son of God?

Muslims of course have to claim that this actually took place, but no rational person will ever make such a claim, given that this is a man-made story (which was included in a book on legends in the Middle Ages).
