When you think about it, Mikasa is also the last "British" pre-dreadnaught in existence... had a chance to visit her a couple of months back, and in pure japanese fashion, she has a vending machine and a gacha machine on board

You forgot the USS Texas. It’s honestly a shame she isn’t in AL because she’s a legendary ship. The last dreadnought in the world!

Honourable mention: HMS Caroline. She was the first of the C-class light cruisers, was built before WWI, and is the last Jutland survivor. Although she was decommissioned shortly after the conflict and was repurposed as a training ship in Belfast (allowing her to survive long enough to become a museum), some of her sisters/half-sisters (depending on how you class them) fought in WWII, with two currently in Azur Lane- these being Curacoa and Curlew, Anti-Aircraft cruiser conversions.

Another Gato-Class worth mentioning is the Silversides, which is the only WW2 sub who’s diesel engines still run and one of the first subs where an emergency appendectomy was preformed

KMS Prinz Eugen would have never been preserved due to nuclear testing and a lot of Axis ships being scrapped. Allied ships were more likely to be saved if communities raised enough money.

On the note of USS Cavalla, next to her is the USS Stewart (DE-238) (A cheap 15 USD to visit them per adult). And across the lagoon from them, currently in drydock, is the USS Texas (A heavy penny of 150 USD per adult to currently visit her) And a little bit of a skip away from either is the sailing ship Elissa (16 USD per adult). As for USS Lexington in Corpus Christi, it's roughly 19 USD per adult. And if you want to visit a more board naval war museum, there's the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas. It also houses HA-19, which was a midget submarine that assisted in attacking Pearl Harbor.

@@SuperHornetPilot Funny you comment on this on the very day I went to visit Cavalla and Stewart. The conning tower of Texas is visible from the road that leads to the Galveston Naval Museum. Texas herself is currently closed to the public, and won't be till the end of the year, at best, early next year, at worst.

I wish the USS New York (BB-34) was turned into a museum ship as well. Even if she might’ve been too radioactive to be on after taking part in Operation Crossroads. I can’t seem to find anything about her wreck besides being sunk off the coast of Oahu in a naval exercise and a picture of her capsizing.

I honestly want to see more of the museum ships be added but also more ships that actually did exist in game as well. Would be nice to see more sailships. Victory, constitution and hermione among others would be cool and maybe some more of the early DDG, CAG and CLGs would be cool. Like little rock, albany, boston, gyatt and maybe some of mistcher classes. Even as event ships. No more paper ships they suck.

Just a clarification, but seven isn’t a lucky number at all. Eight is the lucky number in Asian culture. Also I’d bet that Yamato drops after Manjuu’s new game Azur Promilia drops (sometime before Jan 2025).
