HMS King George V and her smaller fuel capacity is mostly due to the fact that the British had their Empire and the massive overseas logistics network of Naval bases all around the world, so the long range was not really needed

I mean, they do actually take a lot of the names they give to certain ships from Warships- namely, most pr ships from what I know (Kearsarge and Georgia I know for a fact). The stuff regarding Laffey is really clever to me, though.

I think the reference to New Jersey and Ice Cream stems from the fact that USN Capital ships have Ice Cream makers onboard. She can make her own ice cream...

If I had to make a guess, it is due to the removal of one of her main battery turrets to fit more AA near the end of her service life.

Another thing about the ice cream, American naval aviators that were picked up at sea by other vessels other than their carriers after being shot down were handed back in exchange for ice cream.

I just love this little details (including the amazing and detailed modeling of the riggins, that even Drachinifel in a stream with Animarchy praised) that shows us players the love the devs and artists have for the game and are probably history geeks themselves. There are probably MANY more of these details, and lots of videos to be made in this topic. Thanks for the treat JKway, and for the inclussion of the Mogador gun in the Iris tech tree video. On a side note on this, that class had the heaviest broadside weight in history (as far as i know) for a destroyer with 8x138.6 mm guns, giving them firepower close to a light cruiser. Waiting for Mogador or Volta to come in a future Iris event, as well as Strasbourg (already mentioned in a line in fool's scales event), considering the Mogador class was designed as scouts for the Dunkerques.

One day, future generations will solve the Ark Royal mystery. But just not yet.

If Yostar/Manjuu ever add another faction into the game one day, I hope we get either the Swedish, Dutch, Spanish (Spain), Norwegian, Greek, Argentinian, Brazilian, Chilean, Canadian, and Australian Navies. Especially with the Dutch, Spanish (Spain), Argentinian, Brazilian, Chilean, Canadian, and Australian Navies. As then, they're ranks could be filled out by ships in WoWs in future PR events.

I prefer that they fill the roster of the already present factions: -IB doesn't have too much, apart from paper ships and a bunch of u-boats. -RN still has some County and Town cruisers, Anson (5th KGV BB), Hood two, subs and DDs. -IJN still has Yamato, some DDs and cruisers, Amagi Ni and the paper ships. -USN is the one with most possibilities with the Fletchers (Kidd, The Sullivans, etc. We dont have any base SSR fletcher in game ATM), Worcester class, Des Moines Class, the Iowas, the Essex, the Midways, the Sumner class, the Gearings.... -RM is pretty much done, only some DDs, Fiume (4th Zara class CA) and the Condotieri cruisers. And the paper ships (waiting for Brindisi, Venezia or R. Di Lauria). -MNF has Strasbourg, Mogador and Volta, Montcalm, and some lower tier DDs. -NP just some Gnevnys, Leningrad and paper ships (waiting for Stalingrad, Kremlin or Petropavlosk). -Tempesta we have a LOT of golden age of sailing (and piracy) ships, waiting for Queen Anne's Revenge, spanish Galleons and others. -PLAN or ROC is a bonus.

@@Pipe_Avileins I mean, there are two Fletcher sisters that could be SSR. Halford (DD-480), which had a catapult placed on it. And Johnston (DD-557), because of her "F*ck it, we ball" actions during the Battle off Samar.

@@Iron_Blood_Enjoyer1933 I just love that "we're doing it live, f*ck it" of the mayority of DD captains of that era, they were made different. Well, we have hundreds of Fletchers to choose from, it just rare that Manjuu has selected the less atractive ones to the game. I think it would be more atractive to have Halford as an elite and retrofited to SSR, and adding the planes or an scout-based skill, Johnston definitively deserves the base SSR.

this is so awesome, i love how there are little details in a lot of the ships that are historically based. even if the game designs are definitely fan service forward

It wasn't just the enemy that got demorlized, they had to stop nesting British and American Destroyers together, because while the Brits got their daily rum ration, the Americans had fresh food, ice cream and individual bunks. Plus air conditioning or central heating.

i was interested in this stuff, so i clicked, but the background music is louder than your voice, its hard to hear it, if you could mix it that you are louder than the song that would be great, otherwise thank you:D
