Maybe if she had a present father and didn’t grow up wondering why her dad didn’t want her, she would’ve grown up with a different attitude about life. Fathers are there to teach children everything they have learned and pass down wisdom and support their children emotionally and in other ways. It’s unfortunate but statistics and psychology tell us a lot. Hurt children don’t tend to have a fantastic outcome. Of course there are exceptions, but even successful people from all over the world will probably tell you that not having a father present or not “claim” you, will still feel deep, deep hurt into their middle age years and beyond.

The one thing that stood out was how young the daughter was.

I get that people love Jackie. I am a fan of his movies as well. That being said at some point people really need to learn to separate the artist from their art. If this was an average man that had cheated on his wife, lied about the affair, got another woman pregnant, abandoned the second child only after the first wife agreed to turn a blind eye to his infidelity and then pretend his second child doesn't exist is just wrong no matter how you word it. People really think a scholarship to college (something his daughter was capable of receiving without his help) is really going to make up for all the birthdays, hollidays, special moments, illness and life lessons he took from her by choosing to treat her like a stain on BOTH families for simply coming out of the wrong vagina!? That poor woman has been unwanted her entire life, first by her father then by her mother now by strangers on the internet that tell her she is a burden who does not deserve recognition as this mans daughter simply because he managed to avoid her all this time and tossed her a few dollars (pocket change for him) after she reached adulthood. What man doesn't cheat especially when they are chased bye women like he was. I find it so weird when someone cheats and they family decides never to talk about it again when a whole ass person was produced from the affair. Even if he financially supported his daughter or not, it's got to be weird to never be able to see your half-brother or possible extended family. The kids are innocent but always suffer.
