Jackie's early tough experiences and the training he had to undergo is really unimaginable. In a way, it played a big role in why he became such a legendary action star. On top of that his innate extraordinary skills and passion for filmmaking made him something that is beyond insanity. All other western and Hollywood actions stars pale in comparison. Like how Michael Jackson is for pop music, Jackie Chan is the equivalent for action films.

I'm always glad, even today, when I discover new films that show how diverse he can be, given the chance. (But most of all I love his humbleness, work ethic and good personality) If you haven't seen "The Shinjuku Incident" and "The Foreigner", do yourself a favor and watch them, for a taste of his more dramatic roles... :)

Cuz in Hollywood people wouldn't even allow him to do his thing, that would be an insurance disaster, so they'd just use CGI instead which is not Jackie Chan anymore. I miss Jackie’s movies sooo much!! I would love love to see a biography of his life in film. Now that would be the most interesting biographies of all time. He’s just the most incredible human being and humble, loving, funny and the list goes on. Love this man so much! I could listen to him speak all day and I know I’ll laugh, cry with many awes and ouches.

Not all...Sammo hung (even in his film, Painted Faces) said the written and filmed accounts were nowhere near the full story of what they went through. It was somewhat toned down because neither one of them thought the public as a whole would accept or want to experience the total reality of their situations. My guess is that they both spent years trying to forget a lot of "things".
