Ive been a welder for 32yrs now that's hot heavy and hard work and im not in the middle classs. When i get off work im black sweaty and smell like burnt metal. They have no idea what hard work is.

@@heroblok6 my eyes are fine but i do a few things to protect my eyes. When i first started welding all there was arc welding or some call it stick welding then after 5yrs mig welding came on the scene and all the companies switched over cause mig welding is faster and cleaner and penetrated the steel a lot better for stronger welds. Welding use to pay real good but now it doesn't pay as much as it should for certified welders. Im certified in arc mig and tig.

Welding is crazy, i learned it just a bit when I used to be a forklift mechanic and gained a lot of respect for you guys. Im in the medical field now, but yeh its weird when people have these careers and complain. I guess its just different types of stress mentally and physically.
