@@JohnFisherChoir agree it seems more likely than before. But don’t forget the history of Fury plus the red flags: Fury has a virtually proven record of lying, the timing of this announcement is suspect and contrary to noises he was making literally a few weeks ago. Of course team Usyk are acting in good faith that this will go ahead, but it’s also likely team Fury are just playing chess. They’ve already done this sort of stuff in the past: the fact that Fury deliberately misled AJ and Usyk in previous negotiations has already held up the division so much in terms of creating a mandatory backlog etc.

@sy6550 But at the same time, it was easy for Fury to ask for far more than he could ever get, even from the Saudis, because he had no intention whatsoever of fighting Usyk. I can admire his chutzpah, while simultaneously having no respect for him at all as a champion & self professed GOAT. Especially when he isn't remotely close to proving his case in the ring. If money is his only goal, I can accept that. But being a true champion is completely different. When you hold the belts & proclaim yourself the best, - you have to defend the claim. Self praise is no recommendation.

If Tyson was your mate you’d think he was a pain in the arse but you’d also think he was a fucking legend. Its a matter of opinion that Oleksander Usyk is one of the greatest of all time & Fury is the greatest of this generation in the heavyweight division. Its such a shame that fighters dont fight much anymore, they only fight for money not pride or honour. If i was fury or usyk id give my right hand to be undisputed. If you hold all those belts at once you automatically become a legend, one the greatest, its set in stone, ur destiny is fulfilled. Its no more a matter of opinion but fact.

To me the way Usyk wins is either by late tko or decision and even then I lean to a Usyk split decision. Idk if Usyk will have the power to put someone like Fury away who has taken shots from arguably the biggest puncher in heavyweight history in deontay wilder. I think for Usyk, the key to victory is going to the body early, forcing Fury to drop the hands low and then going to the head. Obviously I'm no expert but I assume that's what Usyk's game plan will somewhat look like. For Fury he needs to clinch a lot, push Usyk around and be the forward aggressor, forcing usyk on the back foot and forcing him to move. If Usyk controls the pace of this fight, Fury loses, but if Fury controls the pace then Fury can win just because of his sheer size and stature.

If mike was wilder’s size and height he’d probably end up hitting even harder than wilder but just based on how big wilder is I’d say he punches harder. Fury gets in that ring his fate is sealed with an L. This is fact. Usyk will just not be denied. Fury lands that same low blow usyk would get up and carry on boxing furys face off. He will turn the heat up to full blast on fury in the closing championship rounds. Thats something usyk has yet to do to an opponent at heavyweight. Only twice at cruiserweight. The first time was to teach marko huck a lesson in humility for shoving him at the presser. The second was against Maris breidis because he had to. Maris performed so damd well he wouldve beaten any other guy on the planet but usyk. If fury isnt in by far the best shape of his entire career in this fight he will become helplessly exhausted by Rd 11 and be stopped. I see one way for fury. Stop usyk somewhere within the distance. That's not going to happen for my money. I'll have large order of usyk by majority decision please. And I'm putting the whole 💰on it true gordie! I cant wait!
