Or there’s a chance he gets too confident / comfortable with his new lifestyle since he made 7 figures fighting Jake Paul and now he won’t train as hard. Something like Ruiz-Joshua 2 (obviously not comparing the talent between the 4 fighters but Ruiz was noticeably less disciplined going in to the rematch with Anthony after having made millions off the upset). The fact that before fighting Jake Tommy used to fight at 175 but is now refusing to cut to below 183 for this fight tells me his discipline levels have already slipped massively. Who knows man, it’ll be interesting..

I think the difference will be Tommy's confidence going into this fight. He had so much weight on his shoulders going into the fight with jake paul and you could see the relief when his arm was raised at the end. I think this time he'll be a lot more dominant and maybe take KSI out.

The video of it is online, Logan holds KSI's head (illegal) uppercuts him while holding his head (illegal 2x), then hits him while he's down in the back of the head (illegal 3x). He was lucky to not get disqualified. Where did you even get the right hand from? KSI was already falling from the illegal uppercut.

I personally believe its a mismatch and Tommy will destroy KSI without a doubt. We are scrambling to hold on to what KSI has going for him with his unorthodox explosive punches and heart. But the seasonality of Tommy Fury will come on top in the end and Tommy knows it, way more confident now. You’re banking on what ifs and him crumbling under pressure. There was way more pressure last time. So yes, I believe Tommy will destroy JJ and its a mismatch, that push at the press confidence didn’t do anything.

I agree that Tommie wins but this fight isn't as easy for him as ppl claim. And if KSI plays it safe he wouldn't get knocked out, he'll be a handful 6 rounds. However, if he fights reckless and forgets his defense Tommie might stop him. JJ does bring some other qualities to the table than Jake Paul, not necessarily better, we'll have to see that.

i think both of them cover their weaknesses pretty well, ksi likes to throw the overhand right often and it's something that tommy is often hit by as he leaves his chin open and squares up when a person approaches. For tommy he's got a great jab > right straight which is something he'll be able to land safely with his long arms. between the two though I think this leans strongly towards tommy as he can land that more often and more easily against the inexperienced ksi. but of course ksi could crack his chin which would have to be his hope since on points this would be decisive for tommy

People are assuming that KSI's right hand would be applicable to a much bigger man, this is usually not the case. All KSI's opponents have been small men and they have done a good job in taking KSI's right hand, he needed his elbow last time don't forget, that wasn't his right hand. Tommy may well be too big and strong for KSI's right to have effect, then what will KSI do?

Well the way Jake fought was to go the distance. If KSI is able to be aggressive but tactical has improved his accuracy in his KO punches he has a chance, but a small one

Your main conclusion is just so off. KSI has not proven that he can translate what he does in training/sparring to a real fight when the pressure is on. Just look at the last time he faced a tough opponent in Logan Paul and how quickly he reverted to type with sloppy technique. KSI is very likely to lose by KO

The saying goes "fight the boxer and box the fighter" Jake Paul has been able to outbox a fighter but he couldn't outbox Tommy Fury KSI whilst he will probably still lose the whole time he has said to Tommy "I'm going to fight you" so it seems like a better game plan already, but KSI will be screwed if Tommy can also out fight him

I haven't watched the video but you seem to glaze off anybody who's fighting Tommy Fury. Jake Paul has power, yes. But he landed that right hand flush on Tommy, and Tommy ate it. Because wilder has shown one punch power against proper boxers while being the inexperienced. Jj hasn't, He would've knocked Joe OUT cold.when he landed that right hand if he really hit as hard as you say he does. My worry is that this fight will be like the start of KSI v Logan 1. Logan was dominating with the jab and KSI didn’t have a way around it. The fight obviously changed but Logan’s inexperience and gas tank played a factor. Tommy could embarrass KSI like how Logan was doing whatever he wanted early in that fight.

I don't know man. Styles make fights, But weights makes fate. Tommy is gonna be coming in about fifteen to twenty pounds heavier which means he can absorb more shots, add more power, And turn his gogo gadget arms into tanks. The Thing I'm worried about most is if KSI comes in fast twitch like he does that means there's going to be more power on the counters. This is definitely going to be the biggest test of his chin.

If KSI come out aggressively looking for the knockout, he will find himself on the canvas. Because he leaves himself so open and a boxer who has been training for years will piece him up and take full advantage of those holes. I couldn’t disagree more, Jake actually tries to box, KSI just comes out swinging and throwing windmills with bad technique.

No, I do agree, Brian is not picking KSI here but he's trying to give him a chance and confidence which is good. He's stating what both are good at and potential weaknesses without hating on either. He's made some good points but I think Tommy now is just full of confidence and will be able to see out a points win and for JJ he's got balls to do this but he knows he can, will he? Well I don't think he'll let Tommy bully him or KO him but it will be a painful night and points loss I think but he will get a few good hard hits in that will set up the Jake vs JJ fight. Looking forward to this though. Boxing is stale AF right now, most Pros are fighting twice a year at most, Imagine Ali fighting Foreman then Frazier the next year but without 12 months, mad.

A lot of people get this wrong: Styles SOMETIMES make fights but 9 times out of 10 the guy that beat the guy that beat the other guy, usually also beats the other guy, because he's just better, no matter what the other guy's style is.

With some points i can agree. What I've seen from KSI he is very unorthodox and is fast. The problem is though. He knows this is a big jump. You could hear in his voice in the face off that he was very nervous. On the outside he is trying to be confident and talked a big game and on the inside he is terrified. Tommy has the experience, the size advantage and is technically superior. If i had to bet the house on someone I'd go with Tommy. I think KSI will get ko'd probably

Tommy's bread and butter is fighting on the back foot and outside. KSI also likes to fight on the outside (sort of). Meaning that KSI won't move until he see's an opening and Tommy will not go foward. This fight won't be explosive as we think, maybe round 2 or 3 when KSI learns that you can't pressure Tommy. My decision is Tommy by Decision. The first two round will be enough to score points in KSI.

I can't see Tommy losing but I can't say KSI doesn't have a chance he's proved everyone wrong with mostly everything he's done so wouldn't be shocked if he did beat Tommy

This is all the same stuff that people said for Jake tho “unorthodox style, stuff professionals haven’t seen before” and we know the result. You can have knockout power against KZreadrs, you can have weird styles but at the end of the day getting in there with someone who’s fundamentals are so consistent and strong means it won’t count for much. Yes I understand it’s a different fight but I just think tommys got this one too

He utilises his fundamentals better than KSI does and that shows in his finishes. KSI has raw power that has been fairly devastating, Jake sets his shots up with better overall technique and so the finish comes to him via different means. They aren't small guys and they've been training strictly boxing for a fair while now... I'd imagine they've both got decent power 😂

Styles make fights...in MMA, in boxing the best technical boxer wins unless there's a surprise 1 hit KO which KSI being soo much smaller than Tommy, probably doesn't have. I wouldn't be surprised if Tommy gets some form of KO or stoppage here.

@@fawazshefeek9071these are the exact people saying jj is bad because his style isn’t conventional of a traditional boxer. But they don’t look at the context. He’s only been boxing for 4 years and his technique is scrappy but again only been boxing for few years, and his whole gameplan is to go for the ko, to come with pressure, and the make it a scrappy fight. With that style of fighting, it’s almost impossible to be technical and a traditional boxer. Also he’s used his scrappy style to his advantage and is unpredictable, that’s why he’s training in the mma gym. But people ignore this and say he sucks because 1 everyone else says he sucks, and 2 because his style isn’t traditional

I’ve followed JJ for a long time and he’s always won when everyone said he wouldn’t. But even if Tommy ain’t a top level boxer. He can deal with pressure. It’s gonna be very hard for JJ. But let’s hope

After watching Jake Paul and Tommy and then Geordie showing KSI fighting right after the difference in ability and power looked very clear to me, KSI looked very amateur in comparison. KSI is gunna get wrecked. He looked like a super sloppy fighter even against like actual static non athletic KZreadrs . He's gunna pay for his poor way of fighting

I think that KSI absolutely will be more of a challenge for Tommy than Jake within the first 3 rounds of the fight. Jake tried to do the very thing he wasn't supposed to do, which was to outbox him. JJ is entering this fight with the perfect gameplan of trying to knock the guy out. But if Tommy stays switched on throughout the beginning of the fight, I don't see JJ having success.

i don’t think jake paul was trying to outbox him, he simply couldn’t get him out of there that’s it. he looks like he has power when he’s fighting 40+ year olds. as far as it being more of a challenge, no chance. this will be a one sided beat down mark my words.

Jake does NOT have a traditional boxing style he also goes for the knockout, but it did not work on Tommy.

Tommy is still a very young fighter, KSI will be good experience for him to fight someone who's going to go out fast and throw wilder punches so it's by no means a slam dunk for Tommy there is always a risk with guys like KSI, but if Tommy keeps his head and picks his shots I really don't think KSI will stand a chance to be honest. I don't think Tommy will be nervous at all to be honest. I predict KSI will run out of gas and Fury will knock him out round 5.
