Not to sound political, but there is a certain ex-president going through a similar situation to what Preston Tucker went through. The “powers that be” don’t want to upset the status quo. In my own experiences as an assembly line worker (firetruck/ambulances) people who were conscientious , innovative , and did high-quality work were often ridiculed and looked down upon by their peers.
