I had to double check your living costs. Wow! We live in a 3 bed villa, pay for everything, rent, DEWA, petrol, car ins, health insurance, mobiles, home internet, drinking water, twice weekly car wash, Tv streaming, pool, gym, grocery for two, two cats, for 9320 aed. We don’t do all the subscriptions, school fees, etc. Nor do we use Salik or have a maid. We bought a used car for cash a lot cheaper than in the UK. So we live a more frugal existence but are more than happy and are saving like crazy. I’d love to know your maids expenses. Don’t forget to put money away for your retirement. One day you will need it wherever you are.

@@caffeNoizette DH2 3beds start at approximately 70k aed. This is cheap for Dubai. Move 15 minutes closer to the city and you can add another 50k. This is still relatively expensive to many parts of the world, but it’s as affordable as it gets.

@RushmoorFizzbomb thanks for your reply, indeed not a chance to get closer to the city for me if I had to consider moving there this year....I still feel that as long as am in safe area not so out of Dubai and close to kids school which takes major part in this, That would be good. Al KaraMA , bur Dubai is my thinking....as long as I can save bit and pleasant area thats the most....

Hey, thanks for your comment. Good luck on everything with the move, you won't regret it. Asking for school recommendations is like asking how long is a piece of string... there are so many factors that would contribute to this response i.e. cost, location, curriculum etc. However, I do know that the top British curriculum schools in Dubai happen to be, DESC, JESS, DC, JC. Dubai Hills is a lovely community area, especially for families.

Hi Shinnel lovely video, so informative. I wanted to ask if you know how I can apply for nursery manager positions in Dubai? If you know any website or nurseries directly? Also when they call you down for an interview- is that paid for? Thank you 😊

Hey, all positions are usually online via TES, there are lots of nurseries here. To my knowledge interviews are not paid for and are usually online if you are not already in Dubai/UAE at the point of interview.
