I tried showing this to my son when he was 7 shortly after watching the first movie with him. He seemed into it, but hes never asked for it again in 3 years. So maybe not that much.

2:27 I rewatched TRGB and there is a _clear_ line between the team who put their all into this and the team that just sort've half arsed it. The animation, story telling, performances... way different.

The disdain in James's voice every time he says "Ghostbusters" is palpable. He really does hate this franchise.

2¢, I remember watching the cartoon as a kid then watching GB2 in the theaters and thinking at the time that the plot was about as good as any of the episodes just stretched out to movie length.

Doubt it. I’m pretty sure they have ghosts in Australia too.

The opening animations were always great in those 80s shows because they actually put money into it because it would be reused over and over again.

Uh-oh, looks like the video must've suffered a copyright strike...

The drawing and animation in many of the episodes isn't very good, but where the series excels is in its writing and voice acting.

I’m wasting my one existence watching this video that is JUST A STILL OF A BUNCH OF LOGOS FOR CONTENT. I have no regrets.

The Real Ghostbusters did have a central villain. I believe the name was Q5.

My mum got me the ghost busters toys instead of ghostbusters toys… i was not impressed. Though later in life i did find a ghostbusters firehouse play set in someones toss pile out the front of their house and i felt like the gooneis finding treasure 😂

There's an episode of this show where the Ghostbusters come across a cult using the necronomicon to try and awaken Cthulhu. How the hell do you edit something like that to "Remove occult references"??? Q5 was legendarily out of touch with what this show was and why fans liked it.

What's not to like about Ghostbusters Afterlife? It's a sweet family story with likable characters. The only thing that didn't work for me weirdly enough was the original actors coming in at the very end.

Ghostbusters 2 is better than Ghostbuster 2016 purely on the ghosts being better. 2016 had really poor ghosts but the ghost sequences in 2 are brilliant. The Scolari brothers are fantastic, Ray being lowered to the river of slime, the ghost train, and everything with Vigor are all brilliant. Far beyond the quality of 2016.

Watches 3 episodes, judges entire series, nice. I'm betting you've never watched past season 1 of TNG either
