It appealed heavily to my complete lack of an attention span and wicked sense of irony. Beautiful piece of art!
Good story just need to get it out there for everyone to see

This was awesome
Came here from Laughton Mckenzie, amazing short film.
great work everyone! so good!
Hrafn is not Loki's form. It could have been Hugin or Muninn, raven servants of the All-Father. But I think this young woman was tricked into mercy. Her companion was right.

I believe it was Huginn who tried to warn her... Goes to show that we often allow our own emotions to translate omens and communication for us... Often with one hell of a price.
Skald!!
Really great little film, well done to all involved

Amazing pretty lady!
All this Dirt and Fur... it's a comedy.
Back then they worried about someone being "viking" or not Now people like me worry if they are even white or not, in Europe at least. And it makes me laugh that they cared about such little things compared to what's happening here now.

Even during WW2 they cared about being Germanic or not, skin colour didn't matter, it was about ethnicity.

@@trollking99 Lanuage isnt relevant, religion isnt relevant, but the race itself.

@@jaysonwitting4671 That's my point. You mentioned that Vikings cared about who was Viking over 1000 years ago as being something little. But WW2 was not long ago and the Nazis cared about who was Germanic (Aryan) or not regardless of language or religion. Even if Slavs or Anglos had white skin, that didn't matter because to the Germans they were inferior and an enemy.

@@trollking99 But germanic and slavic are language groups, not racial groups, which is why slavs can be "aryan" as well, because they're the same race, white (except balkan countries, they're usually a bit darker like the rest of south europe)

@@jaysonwitting4671 That may be true, but the Nazis did classify them as racial groups. People outside of Europe may classify all Europeans as white, but Europeans themselves will differentiate each other based on region. A typical Italian will not say they are the same race as a typical Swede for example. Even in Asia, a Filipino will not say they are the same race as a Viet even though they are both Asians.
what's with the stupid dirt on all the faces? you would never have entered a small tent and tried to draw a bow...no room, and no way to react to a possible counter. They would also not have referred to themselves as "viking". Viking is not a noun, it is a verb. There would also have been no questioning the girl because she was a "woman", particularly if she was hunting with you, or fighting in your raiding party. This was overall, clumsy and filled with modern tropes that could have easily been avoided with a tiny bit of effort.

It’s a film, not a documentary, I don’t believe they are trying to be anything other than just entertaining. Most people are educated well enough to understand the difference:)

Constructive criticism is invaluable to filmakers, maybe educate yourself a little better and appreciate it for what it is -a short film to entertain :)
