This should have 20 million views and give that director fucking money so we can watch a full movie of this.

First of all, they were not pressured to get the investment back, then this is only a short movie. They can focus all their effort into shorter period of time.

Thanks to all of you for the overwhelming comments. I am out of words and always get emotional when I read what you guys have written. Once in a while I come back to this video and can't believe we actually did that film. I must have been crazy or sth. to actually pull this off. And even more crazy were the crew and the people who actually beared with me and made my vision possible. We all went through a production hell back then but when I look back now, it was a magical time and I feel lucky that I was allowed to make this crazy flick. Just like you guys, I wish there was a second part or a full blown movie about Jagon but as my favorite character of all time said: life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get. Thanks to all the crew members and you guys here on youtube. May your guardian angel protect you all from all evil. M.E.G.

May your Guardian Angel keeps you sturdy, healthy, enlightened, protected and, even more, in continuous communication with Him. I wonder... With every redpect; If our old hunter and our Saracen young girl, through few years in the near future, with starting point the end of this film, after few contacts with evil and death, (at the past in this time line) find the peace, him as a father and mentor of her and she like a married woman with husband and 3 children, one young hunter /husband approved from our hunter/father, in a protected beautiful farm, and there, the two of them teach the husband and the 3 children about the mystical power of faith, telling us, eventually, their path to meet the Angel of the rosary and enlightenment against the cult of aurelians and the fall from their original grace via vanity, corruption and greed, turn them to soldiers of evil and hubris. One second part of this magnificent work, 35 minutes for example, more mystical, magical and deepness, a great climax, victorious, in a great journey. 🙏❤️

I literally am called to re-watch this film every 6-12 months or so. Today was such a day. Lo and behold, only 2wks ago an update where posted the Creator (film producers...) to almost answer the question that I've asked EVERY time I've watched this: Where is the REST of this story? That said, a powerful seed was planted in this more than artistic cinematic encapsulation. So, again, BLESS and THANK you!

No horse like that graced a poor mans stable, but I do digress for such an excellent movie short.

This was waaaaaaaayy too short. This needed to be a full length movie or a series. A beautiful girl with the power of the ancients; a gatherer with a back story longer than Gandalf's beard, and a swordsman waiting in the distance. A story of legendary proportions with awesome cinematography and directory, and you're cutting it off now...why? I want more!!!

long film tend to spoil stories because it will have to be stretch and maybe become daunting, its just like poems, when they hit short and gorgeous it digest beautifully by the reader, but lengthy things ones bored the readers, a person must really have a strong story and very gifted in creation to make it a top notch of worthiness, short film the same, they are easier to produce and direct and easier to manage and less timing etc.

Thank you youtube for finally recommending something worth my time even if it is 4 years too late..

When you're half-way through the film, on a Friday afternoon after a hard week of work, and realize you've seen it already, but you keep watching it anyway, in silence and awe. Wow.

What's really amazing is the look of this film is as cinematic as any 100 million plus block buster. The use of slow motion, the editing and lighting and the acting are all professional movie quality. Nice.

The phrase “leave them wanting more” is so painfully accurate for this short film. Great job, it should be turned into a feature film and it could be fit into ANY genre.

This was filmed 5 years ago?!!? I just stumbled on it while looking at short films!! I must say that of the many short films I have seen, as well as, big budget Motion Pictures.........Hollywood would salivate over this one!! Well acted, scripted, perfect plot lines and the special effects were amazing!! The orange princess and the hunter acted their parts magnificently. Actually, all of them were awesome!! Should this become a full length Movie, I'd pay to see it! Well done folks......and thanks for the translations! LOL!!

All the special effects in the world and nothing beats a fan and a guy throwing dirt!

HOW AM I JUST DISCOVERING THIS!!!!!! I need more. I want to watch this series, read all of the books, watch the film, etc. AMAZING

Jiminy crickets......came across this by accident, read a few comments....I'm only 10 minutes in and I'm like "OMG....WHY hasn't this been made into a major full length movie!?!" More than that, I sure hope the big studios have snapped up every one of you that worked on this and are giving you the license and freedom to create more superb films. The acting is superb....every close up, every scene....how it was directed, shot, edited is absolutely spectacular! Hope all of you go far, because this deserves some kind of award!

Outstanding work by this team. Just now watching it in 2023 and it holds up very well against other great works. The fact that this was done as a student production is very impressive. I especially love the mood that the color choice of your shots in the woods delivered. I'd love to see more of this story or world in another production. Maybe one day we will get it! Be proud of the masterpiece you have created.

This movie is an example of what makes Germany great.

I have watched this several times and am blown away by the poetic violence. The characters are fascinating and generate a ton of questions about their identities, motivations and purposes. And I love Henry the horse...

I love the Look in her eyes when she gets the rosary back, pure faith in the Guardian, regardless of the faith.

This is probably the best short film Ive ever seen.. Deserves a 1.5 hr movie.

What a treat! Amazing... 6 years and still looks superb for todays' standard.

Omg, I couldn't believe this was from 5 years ago. Everything in it was so perfect; the fight scene was epic with all the blood splatter, the acting was on point, the effect was fabulous..kudos to the whole team

this is worth more than the last 15 hollywood movies. Incredible work, looks like zack snyder old school. Impressive the cast, the effects, the planes, the direction. They deserve a 120 min project.

This team needs independent funding so they can freely expand or their vision and grow into more. This way amazing. So much better than what the elite pumps out to the cinema. If this was a 3h film I'd watch it at least 5 times in the first 2 years of release uninterrupted. So much directing and writing talent. Amazing indeed

15/3/2023, watched this for the first time. Outstanding cinematography, script, effects, acting, and though I was reliant on the subtitles, the dialogue was superb. In some ways I find a subtitled film to have more engagement with the audience. The music captivated you as did the special effects and the scenery. I was saddened that it finished, I wanted so much more, the back story, the prequel, the sequel. Thank you all for your amazing work.

WOW!! This is worth the price of admission!! Geez laweez, I've never seen a student film turn out soo good like this. With such depth of detail work, sfx, music, storyline, acting!! it all was a pleasure to experience. I literally watched it and then ran to my friend and we watched it together. Cannot watch it too many times. Facial expressions are a story unto themselves. A full length feature? Yes, please.

I had never seen this much fantastic, well choreographed film for a while, it was water for my eyes, I wonder about this level of perfectionism we can watch for free! amazing work! can't describe enough of my feelings here.

Superb. The story, the acting, all excellent. I say MORE. A full length movie, a series. One of the best shorts I've seen if not THE best. The look on the old hunter's face when he came to her aide, the look on her face when she returned the favor, was stirring. Although I guessed what was about to happen, it was awesome to watch.

I truly enjoyed watching it. They should make full-length movie.

Great movie! This is what it's about. Great acting. Great cinematography. Great fight scene choreography. Great concept!

This is even better the second time round. The production level was on par with some of the most popular films in the last few decades. Worth the watch.

Please make this a full feature film, Please do!. The effects alone makes it worth the 20 min of my time, add the actors and scenery to it, than even the big studio’s can learn from this. Gold and masterpiece do not do this one justice, it’s way better than that.

More emotion, entertainment, and personal interest in this short length of time, than in a big, blown out movie. The camera angels, the slow-down effects, her clothing rippling, the sheer effort this took... SO amazing.

I feel like I just watched the first ten minutes of what could become one of my favourite fantasy movies. Beautiful buildup, worldbuilding, and creating mystery. I was so ready for more at the end.

Only thing that gave it away were the modern shoes seen near the beginning.

Really enjoyed this so much that reading sub titles was not even a distraction

I just found this today,march 27,2023.Fabulous,amazing,captevating, words fail me.The best story,action,acting,effex,the whole film was what we dream of.Good job,no,excellent job everybody.Oscar perfection.I want more.

This had the feel of a great fantasy novel put to film without being ruined by Hollywood. Great stuff!

There has to be more to this story even if it's another short film it's a magnificent film top of film making line

If I was searching Netflix and found a feature length film or series that started like this I would be chuffed. Exactly what I go for. Really well put together.

I wished this stunningly filmed and beautifully directed piece would never end. Absolutely fantastic!

Fantastic cinematography beautifully done, I loved it. It was like the first time I saw The Brotherhood of the Wolf. Great acting, great stunts and great fight choreography. Also she is just about the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I hope there is more from these folks.

I really liked your hero. Understated strength and humility. Loved the unusual language and of course, excellent cinematography. The German distributors must have been drunk or high to dislike this. Murat Eyüp Gönültas (MEG) is an amazing director.

The girl spoke Turkish. The rosary and the angels reminded me some special prayers that they are actually invitation of angels not many people know of.

"Good things come in small packages." People often believe that something great has to be grand or lengthy. Even some truly great stories are short stories. I'm very happy to have been able to see this "short film" (which was described as short in the title). Great talent, writing, music, direction (MEG) and production sometimes never get this far. I know at least a handful of people that will enjoy this. Thank you for posting this video.

Oh My God!..that was incredible, that was most amazing Short Film I've ever seen in my life, the songs, the way of using the languages, the Shooting quality and the most important Story was incredible, this must be a long metrage movie. Wow! The imagery, acting and movement was mesmerising. Best production I have seen for many years. Why companies with all the mega bucks can't do the same baffles me.

Just today found this......First Mustafa A. Kuzu put down some awesome words to start, the Director provided a beautiful vision, and the Production team put it all together is something that resulted in a true Film worthy of recognition. Just enough FX to support the actors and dialogue and complete the picture. I hope all involved have found themselves where they dreamed and deserve. Excellent piece of work!

Oh my gosh. If they ever do make this a full length movie or series I hope they do give the rosary and guardian angels the religious explanation and back story and powers they deserve

I forgot I was watching KZread this was so well made. Amazing production. I didn't know that "Nordic live action anime" was a genre, but this proves that it definitely is.
