short stories aren't short per se. the possibilities of other things that could happen in every short story will keep you thinking for a long. sometimes years and on. a short story is an idea, while a film is a tale

A rare Gem of a film. This is a "TRUE SHORT" film it has a beginning, a middle, and most important and ending. Very well done and very well acted by Liz Christensen. Honestly if this was a feature length movie it word be better than any of the last five Star Wars movies. This film was so well done that time just flew by.

They weren't "bots." They were humans with the exact same problem, the hneed for the green-glowing module to stay alive. The ones on the surface were the same as the ones below that surface. Ignorance and fear below AND above kept them apart. The same disconnect is the sine qua non of Humanity because we exist in a "fallen" state, sinful and imperfect but for Jesus Our Savior,

Pay it forward. Good movie but a better message! We should be focusing more on community and family than material things and "safety" issued by the government. This path we are on will end in despair for everyone involved.. band together, and don't let evil people rule us anymore!! Please be kind to everyone you can be, even those who may not deserve it or return the favour .. it makes a difference, I promise you that. Don't let the news tell you who is good or bad, think for yourself and stop following the religion of news, government, and "professionals" in their white lab coats! You may not think you are or see it, but you have faith. Most ppl see tv as the word/bible, the "professionals" as prophets and the leaders of democrat or republican parties as a messiah to follow. These people only stay in those positions if they follow the mainstream narrative! If you are a doc who promotes natural ways over pills and pharmaceutical drugs aka biblical pharmakia, you will be shut down and stripped of your title... tyranny, censorship, fascism(the real kind). Wake up and see we are all meant to be free, have god given rights we are born with.. fight back in the most peaceful but effective way you know how. Plz, for the sake of future generations! I won't have kids because I see the way the world is heading and not enough ppl step up to stop it.. Now or never. G. Orwell 1984

That's I believe it's better to prove a point instead of fighting to make other convinced. It's better to use your capability to have an impact on the world. BUT main purpose isn't this human things. Great work I really enjoyed it. Also I like how the tainted resembled the Borg from Star Trek but acted nothing like them. Its great how Liz went from calling the tainted monsters to people after nearly becoming a monster herself. This short film had more to say than many 2 hour movies do these days. Great work in all aspects.

Thank you, Willem for a wonderful story. The actions and emotions carried it. No matter where or when we are or what we may become there is nothing more powerful than the love one has for another to carry them beyond the boundries created of fear. Teared up at the end. Looking forward to more of your work.

Excellent short! I love how the faded banners/signs in the background show hints at this "Biom Industries". It almost seems like a futuristic tech where people run their bodies on power cells or something, with machine/cybernetic augmentations and that all went wrong, causing the end of the world scenario. Very curious. I really enjoyed it.

This movie made me reflect on my days of being a Leukemia (Cancer) patient, when I was a child, and how much my parents, family and friends went through, in order to keep me alive. I am so grateful that I have my mom, and although we may argue and not always agree, not a day goes by when I don't thank God for my Mom and My Step-Mom. They are both so beautiful, and they are Angels.

She started with 3 hours and 19mins. It took her down to 1 hour and 45 mins to even reach the surface. That means it takes 1 hour and 34 mins to travel between the entrance to the underground and her home. She starts chasing the tainted man with 1 hour and 5 mins left. She's already too late by this point.
