That's how I climbed my way to level 30 in Athena is by doing the LotV voyage 100 times. I was level 4 when I started. The ancient cutlass is based on the Aztec macuahuitl. I also did the emissary quest to get the 50 Athena kegs to unlock the whole ghost set.

@@heckanice7278usually 1 key and 1 Athena chest. I would recommend FoF if you’re willing to risk the kegs. Also the keg quests help a bit.

I didn't even realize the gilded Phoenix Cutlass was special. It just showed up in my inventory one day

i can't wait to use the rarest cutless i can still get in sea of thieves

I actually only own two of these cutlasses and it is the Gold Hoarder one and the Soulflame Cutlass ( I got the Soulflame from the old event )

id say another one could be the Guardian Ghost Cutlass! nice video!

I rarely ever see anyone with a Black Dog Cutlass... Which is why my pirate always sports it.

That wasn't the silent barnacle cutlass, but the wailing barnacle one

not to mention, that commendation (Hoarder of Barnacled Gold) gives you 3 cutlasses, not just that one.

I have the Ashen Dragon Cutlass. Which requires a specific ashen tome(I forgot which one, sorry) And there are five sets of tome, each have five tomes in them. So getting this requires a lot of time and doubloons if you want to shorten that time.

but its so common and like it isnt that hard to get tomes like go to big island to find ashen guardian go to small island to find ashen key master and done get 1-3 tomes

I can get all trading company level locked cosmetics as I’m max level in all factions except guardians, servants, Athena’s fortune (only 5 more levels till 30). I’ve also almost gotten the entire silver blade set (working on the clothing)

I got the captain bones original cutlass and im very much proud of it

It’s funny when you get a cosmetics for free when it’s an event item and people have to pay a lot and do a grind to get it if they missed out

Weren’t you able to get the soulflame cutlass from an old event? I got it and im far from pirate legend

What about the skin with the skeleton head on the hilt?

I don't use any Weapon Cosmetic since month because I have to much. I play since the release of the game and with all Event i do i have many of them and when i want 1 specific weapon i need to take 4/5 second of search to find it and when i am in PvP I cleary not the time i use the default. I hope one day Rare give us the opportunity to hiding Skin and just have what we want.

That was a season sword. I think it was around the same time the sea forts came out. Maybe S4 to S6.

Average sword life span in sea of thieves : First 2-5 hours/ Exploring, killing mobs First 5-7 hours, getting into a fight and thrown away by blunderbuss First 8-# - Only used occasionally for better movement or killing mobs. Realize blunderbuss > sword and stop using it. That's the average life span of a sword in sea of thieves.

Blunders are great, and better in straight up pvp 100%. Don't underestimate that sword dash though, that mobility is no joke.

@@synthemagician4686 I'm talking about cq fights. Yes, it helps you move faster to an island and all that, but when you fight on a boat, like 95% of the time, you're doomed. Cannons are mostly a resource fight which i rly not enjoy. Yes you can sink someone fast if you get good positioning, against noobs, yes, but average-pro players, no. It will take you about 30 min to sink them with cannons, or even more, untill one of you is out of resources.

I mean you have videos like this from several years ago bro. The cosmetic flexing has always been a thing. Once upon a time the typical purple pirate legend outfit was actually a giant flex and topped lists like this.

Of course its the most used weapon, you just need to left click 4 times without even looking directly at the opponent
