I have a FlySky Noble NB4. Bought it about 2 years ago. I paid about $180US. I drive lefty. It was the most reasonably priced convertible transmitter for lefties. Now they are about $220US. It has a lot of features and great build quality. I find the latency to be pretty quick. I'm real happy with it.

There are a lot of good radio sets out there, and with a good range of features. It boils down to what features do you use, what sort of response times do you want, and what your budget is. Personally I use a Flysky Noble NB4, it's so well made, has great features, good response times, and the small receivers are antenna-less and not that expensive. At the end of the day it's down to personal preference. The Sanwa MX-6 is a good choice, good build quality and good features for the price. Whatever you use I hope you like it and get on well with it!!

I really prefer to have stick radio’s I grew up with them I raced with them, I can use the wheel but I don’t like them, but a decent stick radio is like rocking horse Poo. I bought a Sanwa MX6 I don’t think much of it , it gets interference near mobile phone masts ,cctv, telegraph poles. Which 🤯🤬 blows my gaskets

Joining the winning team! :D I know I've shouted MT5 a couple of times here. But like you, I mostly use EPA, curves and I like that the radio has 20+ save slots. BUT, one large reason I chose the MT-5, is that it has the same superfast response speed that the M17 has, but at half the price. ITs essentially a cheap M17, with a few bells and whistles missing, but bells and whistles I dont use. :) But I hope the MX6 does exactly what you need it to do. I had 3 year "umm-ah-humm??" issue with radios, as I was tired of buying too cheap radios, that didnt quite fit the bill, and I wasnt too intrested in spending 600€+ on a radio. Then the MT5 came out, and it seemed really a good option. It felt a bit like the old Snowboard analogy, that you should never buy the top end, as it's gonna be released next year with new prints as a mid end LOL. :D Anyway, its easy to shout in the comments about choises, good luck with the new radio, and keep us updated on your experience with it. :)

Sanwa is a great choice, although id have went with the MT-5 which is as far as I’m aware is the replacement for the MT-S. as far as radio settings go, steering and throttle speed along with expo and endpoints are some of the most valuable settings you can use as a tuning option for car handling… they are overlooked by so many newcomers as most newbs think they need the fastest settings on everything (which couldn’t be farther from the truth) looking forward to see how you get on with a more entry level radio 😃 Congrats on over 8k subs too 💪

Another great subject. I personally would of spoke a bit about the cost of receivers. This is a area which for a lot of racers on a budget is a defining factor. If you have 4,5 or more cars the cost of receivers can rival or exceed that of the hand set! I like you am a fan of Spektrum and very happy with but will say that I have also stayed loyal because the vast selection of cars I have have meant I have invested heavily in receivers which is a much bigger cost than the transmitter. Just something for you to think about and maybe feature in another vid. Keep the vids coming guys 🏁🏁🏁.

JMO you should have stepped up one level to the MT-R in this case you really get what you pay for. The problem with the MX-6 is the FH-E protocol it uses which is not compatible with the FH-5 protocol the rest of the current Sanwa radios use and it’s not compatible with the older FH-4 protocols of previous Sanwa systems either hopefully it all works out for you. 😉I’m probably upgrading to an M17 from my old MT-44 because it’s the only one backwards compatible with the older FH4 stuff which I have a lot of RX might be willing to do a deal 😋JK I’m keeping it

Can you do a review on the Flysky FS-GT5 please? Could it be a good racing radio? It's on the cheaper side but maybe it could be a good racing radio, or at least comparable to the more expensive ones. I don't understand how these more expensive "racing" radios are almost 10X the cost of the cheaper brands. Are they 10X better? What about DumboRC radios? They are cheap and many people including Kevin Talbot claim they have the best range and responsiveness. Spektrum has a bad rep on those categories on their lower tier RTR models. That's why I can't really trust them. If they can't produce a reliable basic model, then can they be trusted on their more expensive models? One drop and it glitches? That's ridiculous. You should open it up and check for loose connections or weak soldering points inside.

Wrong decision in so many ways. I don't get it. Bad response time, bad receiver compatibility, no customization options, cheap looking, and worst of all......glitching problems. The difference compared to a 10px or M17 is obvious and immediately seen in lap times. Worst radio on the market and you picked it.
