Young dragons can burn, especially the wings. The older the tougher the scales. Meleys can withstand a lot more heat than Sunfyre.

@@Feyxd Rhaenys turned around to fight Aemond because she knew if Meleys can at least seriously wound Vhagar, the war will ultimately be over with the Greens only having Helaena's Dreamfyre to defend against the rest of the Blacks' dragons.

Meleys is tuff, she is not bigger than Vhagar but she has been apart of the 4th Dornish War with Vhagar, Vermithor and Caraxes so you know she ain’t rookie to this. Experience is key when it comes on to dragon battle, don’t worry the blood worm Caraxes is there.😤

No because Meleys dove under Vhagar to avoid the jaws, then hooked one claw onto Vhagar’s feet, scratching her with the other claw while blasting fire and angling to protect Rhaenys from the opposing fire, AND THEN slammed Vhagar to the ground? She is so tough 😭

Rhaenyra is the youngest dragon drider in westeros history, she was only a year older than the little kid that was killed in episode 1, by blood and cheese. 16 year old Jace is definitely inexperienced compared to 32 year old Rhaenyra.

a Prince consort is Husband to the Queen..Jace is Next In line for the throne as Rhaenyras Son & if She dies He becomes king and The counsel will vote who will be Regent Over Jace..Daemon won't have a say so since jace is not his son and Daemon has no authority at all even though he is the widower of the queen should Rhaenyra die...Now daemon can try to usurp the throne and take the throne which is what he wants..he says to them at harrenhal to call him "Your Grace" which is the title Given to a Living King or Queen not your grace consort..
