He chose to wed the woman he loves than his duty and responsibilities to his country. The actress who portrayed queen mother done brilliant job and managed to immitate queen mother's voice and the body language. I really loves ths scene. She was right too. The stress of the crown killed king george. He had a speech impediment, thrust into a position where he represented the whole country and having to be a symbol the people could unite under during the war. He had to give speeches while the country was blockaded and bombed for years with a speech impediment! He gave his all to the Crown, putting aside selfish interests and doing his duty like a good king.

It was nvr easy to be the England queen in the WW1 and WW2. She and her husband saved the country frm falling into Nazis hand. Bravo, I salute you mam. Camilla was a divorced woman. That was why they didn't want Charles to marry her. Charles divorced Diana, but after Diana's death Charles was considered a widower.

She was an awful person. She wanted to be queen. Like no crown had ever passed to a sibling before? I read shopkeepers dreaded her coming in as she felt she needn't pay for anything. This was in her later years....and she ran up gambling debts.....
