I was at the service for Diana in Wellington, New Zealand. The Archbishop mentioned the service was for the three people, Dodi Fayed, Diana and Henri Paul. Every time, he mentioned all three. I was so happy he included everyone who died. They are all equally important as human beings.

I remember when Princess Diana passed. Everyone was in shock, it was unexpected and tragic. I understand why people were so upset at what they perceived as an uncaring Queen and Royal Family, however at that time protocol did not allow for response. It was not until the people demanded it that the Queen was able to change the rules. I believe she was more than happy to do so and truly loved Diana as did the rest of the world. The Queen's passing although not unexpected still stings. She has always been one of my heros.

She was right to keep William and Harry away from the media and the people they were children for god sake not peforming monkey's at a time like this! No one expected such a public outpouring of grief for Diana it was massive people were sobbing for her and knowing how badly the royals treated her stirred their anger and the media loved it and made it worse. The Queen was badly advised she probably should have done a speech and the stayed silent aftwards and looked after William and Harry. Charles was also trying to deal with his own guilt at how he treated Diana hence why he was all for a state public funeral

I was young when this happened. While I wasn't emotional about someone I didn't know, I do remember thinking about how awful it must have been for her boys, to lose their mom. I am an American. So I can say, without them trying to throw me in jail... God, I don't think you should save the king.

HM was one that could read a room. HM hadn't known someone as dynamic as Princess Diana but she learned. HM took that time to grieve and study Diana and found the formula and used it herself. HM knew how to adapt. However, the moral of this story is what saved HM's reputation was her honesty and candidness. HM, in this moment threw the never explain policy out the window and explained the situation to everyone. Everyone knew where she stood and why. It was HM that gave Princess Diana to the world. So, the world expected HM to show she respected her own selection.

The RF is another breed, there traditions and modernizing the monarchy hasn't been easy. I understand the coldness they have, but it truly was Diana who set the wheels in motion for that change, she is sorely missed and I do think they realize the impact and importance she had on them and the world. She watches over her family with the dearest of heart. May she soar with eagles and rest amongst the Angels. God bless her and keep her forever, hope her children find her there when it's their time.

Queen disliked diana the moment she became the most popular figure at that time(not after the marriage), with all the attention being directed to her. Many people who observed queens body language before and after the funeral concluded that she was scared and worried because the crowd of dianas fans would hate her, for which they did...for the next few years. Diana truly tried to keep her falling marriage together ,she seeked help from the queen to try and reason with Charles, but with no success. The queen insisted that they should both seperate and divorce But she did allow diana to retain her royal tittles, but charles insisted that she should be stripped from them. She also opened up her memorial place at althorp estate. Camilla Parker ruined their marriage, Charles tried to take away her happiness, i hope their past catches up with them, its a question if Britain will accept their new king and queen, because they both, with the andrew dont deserve any privileges or tittles.
