Over on the west coast, LSU Softball is competing in the NCAA Tournament Super Regionals. Despite the team's success in 2024, David and Patricia are not sure Head Coach Beth Torina will be back for another year.
One coach who will be back in Baton Rouge for 2025 is Seimone Augustus. The former women's basketball star led the Lady Tigers to multiple Final Four appearances as a player. Now, Augustus returns as an assistant on Kim Mulkey's staff.
Just two weeks after LSU Football Head Coach Brian Kelly said the Tigers would not buy players in the new NIL era, the NCAA and Power 5 conferences reached a groundbreaking settlement that will allow schools to directly pay players. Davis and Patricia share their thoughts on some of the new guidelines.
As always, the show wraps up with No Sweat Bets presented by Southern Air. David and Patricia serve up MLB, NBA and LSU Baseball bets to lock in for the weekend in sports.
