This one looked almost opposite of Game 1: LSU could hit at will; this time Stanford could hit at will. Canady did not look like Canady in the 1st game. But Canady looked like Canady in this one. Game 3 is up next. I want LSU to step up. Excellent work - as always, Matt. Thanks.

SEC teams do better in the polls than they do in actual competition. My guess is that every SEC team votes for every other SEC team based on conference affiliation rather than quality of play...just like football.😉

You are correct; the SEC is highly overrated in softball this year and the Commissioner keeps lobbying for the high ratings. The Big 12 is the strongest softball conference but that will change of course when Texas and Oklahoma officially become members of the SEC.

With Canady on top of her game it's hard for anyone. Thanks Matt
