Born, raised, and spent my 1st 45 years in Hampton and everything you said is spot on. I left for the Raleigh Area back in 2015 because of the lack of job opportunities Hampton had. My parents still live in Hampton and I still go back to visit as a result. BTW, I could tell you stories about Hampton especially during the 25-year period starting in the late-70's. Little to say, living in Hampton during that time period (Especially during the early 1990's) was quite interesting to say the least.

I'm staying in Hampton in September for a week, I can't wait. thx for the info on the Bridges/tunnels. As I will be traveling to Norfolk often!

@@kimamazen I think the area of Hampton Roads has something for everyone. I've lived in the area for over 25 years. Also, it's a little warmer in the winter than NJ!
