I too, have been ruined when it comes to coyotes. My brother brought me a small bundle of fur when I was 14. A farmer had shot her mother and my brother was loading hay in the guy's barn when he found her tiny baby. Her eyes were not yet opened, I ended up bottle feeding her with raw goat milk, every 2 hours 'round the clock. I named her Moriah, and she grew up to be a wonderful member of the family. She was a teacher of the wild, and a wonderful friend.🙏🏼

@NaturesTemper that's wonderful! I had 2 black kitties. Both died at 18 yrs old. One in 2021, other in 2022. QT and Bea... I miss them. 😢 I have their ashes in kitty urns. ❤️❤️

My cats grew up with a momma fox and her kit in the lot beside us. My boy cat likes opossums so much he used to follow them around when he was younger. I was putting my groceries away and listening to this when the den of coyotes started singing across the park from me. They belong here too, in fact, the local highschool's mascot are the Coyotes! I loved this story, thought we were gonna go one way and we took a turn!

I remember finding a severed deer leg near the woods in coyote territory when I was definitely too young to be wandering near the woods. I wonder if one was close or not at the time.
