Your selection is impressive. Digging these. Author mentioned Lovecraft so organically what a pleasant blast, and your Perfect voice the best cherry on top.

I literally laughed out loud at the Djinn blowing the protagonist a kiss after it predictably swatting away her meek and pathetic attempt at saving herself.

❤ great story felt like it could have been a real accounting of a Djinn experience. The story is similar to an experience that I have already had with Djinn posessed items. When it comes to buying stuff at a thrift store the answer for me is a big no. I had a client of mine buy a dress from a thrift store and the curse on the dress almost did her in. My clients life collapsed within weeks of having the dress and the harm it did to me as a psychic has left me scarred from the experience so I will never be thrift shopping again just from seeing her experience. Hell no...literally lol

While these Djinn ARE. said..in many ways, somewhat similar..but NOT the same as Genies. Said to be creatures/beings NOT of/from this, "our" plane of physical existence, but are considered to be elemental creatures.."of fire specifically". While also seeming to possess nigh incomprehensible powers, they DO appear to have a few limitations. NOT being.."FROM here", these beings seem to have a need to HAVE a..host "object" that IS from/on THIS plane of existence. This object can be pretty much anything really, either being an inanimate everyday object, OR, an animate.."living/live" object..such AA a person, or basically any kind of animal. They have been said to take, "willingly choose", a living creatures body to inhabit, they do NOT "willingly " choose to inhabit, "be bound to" any kinds of INanimate objects, like the typical lamp..of Genie lore..OR as in this story..a "horses head." Which would ve indicative of it having been UNwillingly bound TO said object BY a "third party". This 3rd party would need to possess an actual knowledge of how to first..summon a/any Djinn, and once having BEEN summoned, how to "safely"..contain/"subdue & restrain..by force...at which point the 3rd party can then perform a binding ceremony/ritual..spell, which would effectively contain/restrain the Djinns "essence"...and to VERY specifically establish the..parameters, OF this binding. Like..conditions which may or..may not allow the Djinn to leave/escape the object it has been bound to. The temporal minutiae..luke..for how long, if & or when it MUST return. Y'know..or, CAN the Djinn be released if said object is damaged, broken or destroyed? OR..would the destruction of the object/"prison" that holds the Djinn result in either being set free..OR invoke an immediate banishing TO its elemental fiery plane of existence. Ysee...if THEY take/use a LIVING host body, that even if they somehow were UNable to choose to leave...that sooner or later,"a/any "physical" body WOULD die..and thusly free them. But an INanimate object..of a very durable material, not prone to wear, corrosion or other structural compromises, which would make their "prison sentence" virtually unending. So..to SOME degree, a Djinn CAN be...handled", but they are NOT going to be offering to grant wishes. NOT a BIT like the Genie from the "Aladdin" movies MORE along the lines of...well..Jafar, from the most recent version of Aladdin. Y'know..where he is given.."the power cosmic", and starts going WAY off the deep end..stating aloud all if the..HIGHLY UNpleasant things he WAS going to do. And..in a way he WAS tricked. Y-see, the ONLY way to grant his wish..to be ALL powerful..JUST like a Genie", would be TO transform Jafar INTO a Genie. A Genie..which WOULD be "BOUND" TO the little brass lamp...AND also bound to those specific existential conditions. To HAVE unlimited powers, BUT be unable to use those powers for ANY purpose other THAN, to grant the 3 wishes of whomsoever had summoned then.."rubbed the lamp." How..when & what a Genie uses its powers HAS limitations, conditions and restrictions..but unless a sufficiently effective/powerful enough binding had been DONE "to" a Djinn, then it could use its powers with NO discretion whatsoever..

This is a good one, Skott. Your choices in content are widely varied and unique. Many I don't see repeated on other channels, which makes them a real treat.
