Another Englishman here, first heard this watching the footage of the Hibs fans after the cup final, it was the best rendition of a song by football fans I’d ever seen, I had goosebumps. Have looked up the song since watching the Proclaimers footage,an absolutely beautiful song, which I admit brings tears to my eyes. Doesn’t matter what nationality you are this is a song for everyone.

+Fiona Mckelvie I'm a Celtic fan. But this song when the hibs fans sung it at the cup final. Made the hairs on my arms and neck stand on end. Well done. A very close second to Celtic fans singing YNWA. When we sing it at our best when Celtic park is full. 60.000 can't beat it. But as I've said. You's come a very close second. LOL Xxx

it’s impossible to me not being emotional with a song like this. Feeling saved and loved by someone else, when you were destroyed before, is the greatest feeling of love that you can get. But, lose that person for good, when she dies... it's worst, even more than you can imagine. I hear this song, and i remember her with love, but with sorrow too.
