@@coolboygoldi He isn't really underrated. He can't shoot hence dosent space the floor, He can't make free throws which makes him a liability in late game situations. He is an average finisher around the rim and neither is he a great shot blocker. He also gets exposed on switches. Only thing he is good at making screens and finishing lobs. Anyone who watches okc would agree.

@@younggggggg CP3 isn't better than Russ. Russ has had his surgeries but he's not just more healthy than Paul he's really healthy generally. CP3 forces Harden to carry a huge portion of the regular season, and still gets hurt in the off season. Plus we saw against the Warrior's was that he *didn't* have it in him anymore. I remember him not being able to take Looney to the rim and always having to settle for a bad jumper that'd miss. CP3 lost his step. And having him go into another off season 1 year older he'd only get much worse, and probably get injured another time. People are like "look what happens when he's given the keys to the offense for once". He literally runs the bench. That's his offense. He's always given the keys it's what worked with the Rockets was that Harden or CP3 were always on the floor at one time. So they ran their own offenses. Westbrook and Harden get that same thing but Westbrook hasn't lost his step yet.

The rockets have my buy-in this year for sure. If the put Russ in a role like D-wade with Bron where he's doing a lot of slashing, back-cutting, and secondary playmaking, he'll thrive. Then you can have Russ push the pace while Harden trails on the play as a MONSTER triple threat outlet and have Russ be the primary playmaker against the bench players. Sounds like a recipe for success to me. Russ needs to play Russ' game, not CP3s

Coach Nick has an inherit bias against Russ. I think it is because WB can be hotheaded, and throw games away by trying to do too much. However, that is every superstar player. That is the competitive will that makes them special. If you look close enough, every player has something similar. We've seen Steph throw games away by jacking a long dagger or a fancy pass and he is one of the smartest players out there. That is having confidence in their abilities. Steph takes 40 feet long 3s, even when he can take a closer one with a better percentage. Because he believes in his ability to make it. Same with Kobe taking contested mid range shots. Harden taking contested step backs. And Russ drives in like a maddog, because he believes in his ability to finish through contact. And he is one of the best at it. He had a shooting slump this year. And it really hindered his game. But OKC also didn't have any perimeter presence to help Russ' game. Houston on the other hand has that.

1:30 but you see who elese is on the list? Guys that draw fouls, drive to the rim looking for contact or bait the reach in on the perimeter for 3. Kobe x2, Harden x2 who we know is lights out when he wants to make them, Melo x2, Kemba. And the attempts per game were never more than 24, which only happened the season KD left. In 2018-2019 he averaged about 1 attempt less than PG and his FG% was only .010% worse, this is coming from PGs best season of his career, so we need to put that in perspective before we act like this list means that Russ is the most inconsistent player ever. It's the way he plays the game. It's the late 2010s, you draw fouls, its just what you do, and it usually means gathering that ball as quick as possible and putting the ball up with hopes that it might go in. I think the rockets have much better shooting coaches, and we underestimate Russ's willingness to learn and change his ways for the good of his team (he did that last season).

Everyone on that inefficiency list are players I never bought into. That includes KOBE. Won't find MJ on that list.

Kobe's the only one on that list that has won 1 Title. And obviously he won more than that. Kobe is also the best defender on that list so he was shooting high volume and making 1st team All Defense at the same time. Also that 37% was at the age of 36 averaging 22 after a ruptured achilles.

MG23 lol isn’t that ironic people think they game is played on paper good efficiency doesn’t equal winning. Steve Nash 50/40/90 4 times most ever is the only mvp to not make the finals. That says a lot considering he won it twice and those suns teams were good.

The only way this works is if Russ becomes the dominant on the ball guard while Harden transitions to off the ball 2 guard. Russ is too terrible a shooter to stand and watch. Harden is a good enough spot off shooter and can attack off the dribble after Russ collapses the D.

T Challa harden is lazy at running for empty space in offense, hope he gets better. i hope the 2 will work. russ’s catch and shoot is not that bad, compared with pull up shooting

Nick, love the vids. Always top shelf and great editing. However I find your mic is muddy. Perhaps consider how you EQ it or swap it out with a different mic.
