As a homeless teenager, I managed to come across Dr. Stanley's picture in the newspaper, regarding his rapid recovery from an operation. I remember clipping his picture and keeping it inside my pocket. Many years later, Dr. Stanley led me to the Lord via one of his many broadcasts. To think that the Lord Jesus Christ, had whispered in my ear, that he knew where I was at the time, and also provided me with a snapshot as to who would lead me to salvation. I love this guy!

I enjoy Dr Stanley and his preaching styles also.. I used to wake up in the morning and his show would be on.. I never thought much of him or his message. Now that I'm older and cartoons are no longer my priority in the morning.. And I've given my life to Christ Jesus.. I watch Dr Charles Stanley and I tell other Christians how great his teaching style is.. I keep telling people like I'm the only one who knows how awesome he is. 😂. So I didn't have a picture in my pocket.. But I had a memory in the back of my mind , and just like you I say to myself.. "funny how this person has been in my life since I was a kid.. And now as a adult I find him again and now I love listening to his message from the Lord himself". God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.. Amen.

When I was 46, I became single. I prayed and prayed for years for a partner, a companion because I couldn’t handled being alone. But I never did get one. I finally accepted being alone, now I’m 74 yrs. old. I’ve been ok all these years understanding that he’s my companion and my provider. Thank you Pastor Stanley, I will now pray without ceasing. I’m learning this at 40 I don’t pray for a partner, however; I thought I should have someone but I know now why it’s important I have a relationship with god and no one else. He is my father. Divorced at 35 and I used to pray for a new partner as well, back when i had one foot in to Christianity. But ever since God completely got me, I could literally care less about companionship with the opposite sex. And let me tell you, the holy spirit is strong in me. God won't even let me look at a woman in a desirable nature. I'm still very much attracted to women, don't get me wrong, but he just doesn't allow me to view them like that anymore. Now I do have a choice on the matter, but after God saves you, you're given a gift which makes it easier to resist the temptations of sin. When before, I didn't even have a choice, much less even being aware that i was sinning.

I absolutely believe that you and God must have a close relationship first and in time he will send you the best of the best after putting God first. Wouldn't you rather be alone than with the wrong person that brings the stress out instead of the best of the best of you both for a long HAPPY respectful and honest relationship with love that God has been working all out for you. Just stay SINGLE and work on the best possible relationship with God and his son jesus christ and believe that if you do you have the right person in his timing. Never rush God because he knows what is best and the timing. God bless you and your godly life and I wish you the best ❤🙏

Very true.

I used to pray a lot then I stopped for the most part. My life spun out of control pretty fast and stayed that way for a long time. Bad things were happening but I couldn't see it. I was truly blind. Long story short, I re-devoted my life to God and am back to praying a lot. We have conversations, He makes me chuckle, He makes me feel comforted, and He makes sure my mom and I have what we need. One of my favorite times of prayer is sitting by my vegetable garden after dinner praying for a bountiful harvest. God is an Awesome God!!!

Brother I too was Prodigal, and the whole time I was fooled by the father of lies into thinking I was ok, see I was reading to much stuff of new age and the belief that I was in control of my life . I had to lose the things God knew would bring me back to him , I suffered 4 days , then I came back on my knees crying out and begging God to forgive me , and guess what God ran yes he ran to me with open arms, and with forgiveness ,he said son do you know I still Love you ,he took me by surprise when God ran . Now its been 3 months and he's giving me my family back , Praise God in Jesus we are forgiven Amen . You can do it brother its the best love in the Universe Agape Godly Love One Love from above Amen :)

@@looper5070 Peaceofmind I didn't know that is the heart and mind of God the Spirit feels and thinks " props or antics " of His sons and daughters that preach yelling. I trust and think God the Spirit will change His heart and mind upon seeing hundreds of thousands of His now sons and daughters in His presence in heaven bcz of so-called "props or antics" yelling preachers. In my opinion I prefer his calm voice yet of my brothers and sisters in Christ preachers yelling my spirit-heart and way I think is quite unlike the way you think and feel and say and write of preachers yelling Christian brothers and sisters. I yell at times and I'm not justifying my yelling and yet this is the reason I'm not judgeful of preachers and/or Christians yelling while you're more understanding and not judgeful of deception. Peaceofmind you and I don't feel nor think the same. And judgeful isn't of sound judgement of me yelling.

Now I understand why I woke up just after this video had been uploaded a few minutes ago. God wanted me to watch this. I kept crying. I started to prioritize prayer months ago then I stopped. Now I'll make it a priority again. I am thinking about how it is I could have a closer relationship with God. Well I've been praying, a little, but not actively setting a time for it. Just whenever I feel like. And I asked for God's forgiveness regarding that. I know, he's been letting good things happen, and I understand now that it was also to get my attention. My God is great I am learning how to trust him every day. I never use to read the bible the way I should .since I listened to postor standly my god pick me up and turn me around. It was the best day of my life I started reading the word of God it completely changed my life . Thanks be to God I surrender my life to him I love the Lord I am now serving him every day praying calling out to him . There is power in the word of God. Let's pray for each other amen

Lord please forgive us for only asking You to heal our land but not to forgive our sins. Help us to imitate Your prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane! “Father, not my will but Thy Will be done”! You taught Your disciples to seek forgiveness in our prayer so that our Father will hear our prayers! We must humbly pray seeking Your Face and turn from our wicked ways! “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse from All unrighteousness”! We humble ourselves before You today Lord!
