This is a new video format for the channel. I'll still be focusing on adventure content, but you can expect the odd Optimistic Review to pop up over time!
I've had mine for 33 years now. Still working flawlessly. It came with a separate Piezo igniter which also still works.

33 years, wow! There's not a lot of equipment that gives "less than a dollar a year" value like that
We’ve had ours for over 20 years Good to see your ok ❤ from the uk 🇬🇧

Thank you so much for the reply. All the best , Steve. By the way, a bit cold up here now at , - 40 below 0 .
I keep two of these in my motorcycle camping kitchen. They are much better for actual cooking than the small diameter burner stoves. I have a small wood stove that I can use with one of them for a windbreak and to give a more stable platform for a frying pan.

Nice! I've been thinking of ways to DIY a windscreen for my own. The large burner diameter really is a great feature.
"'Based"" nice job keeping up with the youngins lingo

i bought one but had minor issue with it. so i bought a second one, and that one had the same issue. my complain is with control knob. i can't get it to simmer really low. the knob turns by itself ! how is yours?

🧐That's interesting! Mine simmers really low just fine. The knob still has pretty good tension and stays put -- after a year of use.
