On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

    The dogfights are badass, but I freakin love these “mission” or “scenario” videos. It gives an amazing insight to what modern air combat is like. Everyone know about the Spitfires shooting down 109”s, but very few understand how totally different and sci-fi esc fighting in a plane is today

    Full agreement on all of the above! It's incredible when we back off mentally and abstractly observe that in roughly a hundred years, we went from firing pistols at each other in airplanes to launching mystical arrows of fire beyond the curvature of the earth... ...majestic and horrific, the things mankind does.

    13:10 i love seeing the raptor pivot in a turn. you can see the nose and tail spin around the center axis. it's amazing. it's like in those su 57 air show vids, except raptors actually get to fly and train instead of rusting in a hanger.

  • @FacitOmniaVoluntas.

    @FacitOmniaVoluntas.

    10 ай бұрын

    Raptors also exist in meaningful numbers, have modern avionics, are actually stealth and can fly without exploding mid air and crashing due to catastrophic engine failures. The SU-57 should have never been built. It is an abomination. After India exited the PAK-FA program, Russia should’ve taken the L and admitted that they don’t have the knowledge or funds to build a fifth gen fighter by itself. Instead they did what Russia does every time they “develop” something new. They took a Soviet platform, the SU-27, made it look more modern, put some western technology in it, vastly overstated its capabilities and called it a day. The result is an SU-27 with a bodykit that relies on technology from Russia’s sworn enemies. Lovely!

    I was in the USAF back in the 70s and used to watch C5s land at Tinker AFB. It was amazing how slow they look when landing, they just hang in the air or it looks like that. They are so large the slow landing speed looks like a crawl. It would have been great if the C5 had waggled its wings in gratitude when you came along side. Please do more of these kind of videos must more interesting than the usual duel, at least for me. Reminds me of a Tom Clancy book.

    I never served, but I grew up on USAF bases in the 70's and saw a lot of C-5s myself (and saw/walked through a bunch at the base open house events). Agreed that the C-5s looked like they were suspended in the air on a string, and the turbine whine was *very* distinctive.

    "never realized how big a C5 is". It's unbelievable it flies. I live just outside of the airspace used by the VC25 and some C5s for flight training. KMDT is a very popular area for them to do some flight time due to the huge 10,000' runway and relatively low traffic. Just saw a pair of them doing some flight pattern work last week in fact. It's an awesome sight. Then, just 5 miles away from home, we get to once in a while hear the lovely BRRRRT of the A10 doing some training!

    Got to fly in a C5 with our cargo on the way to my second deployment. Having been on C130s and C17s I thought I knew what a big plane was. The C5 broke my brain when I saw it.

    The entire first flight by the Wright Brothers could have taken place inside a C-5

    Hey! Been watching your videos for a couple of years now! I wanted to recommend that you upload group PvP scenarios! Like 4v4s and maybe even include bombers to protect or other missions to accomplish. That's all!

    Id love this exact scenario, but with a wingman, at night, and based off the b2's strikes, make two different targets in the mission

    Current tactics are for 4th gen fighters to attack at the same time as 5th gen ones. Since it appears that the radar noise generated by the 4th gen fighters and even B1B/B-52's. Makes it impossible for both ground based and air based anti-air/missile defense too see 5th gen fighters and the B-2's. It appears its one or the other, either look for stealth and ignore non-stealth or look at non-stealth and ignore stealth.
