A common misconception about the neurotransmitter dopamine is that it causes pleasure. Dopamine actually is responsible for cause feelings of drive, pursuit and motivation

Thank you for your comment! I agree with you. It's important to understand that dopamine has multiple functions and its impact on our emotions and behavior goes beyond simply producing pleasure. Thank you for pointing out this important point and helping clarify this confusion. Best regards!

The more dopamine the less serotonin, if you become obsessed with your pursuit, you will not be happy in the long run.

Thank you for sharing your perspective! I completely agree with the importance of focusing on meaningful tasks and finding true pleasure in disciplined efforts. It's easy to get caught up in instant gratification or superficial pleasures, but they often don't bring lasting fulfillment. By reserving our dopamine and channeling it towards meaningful goals and achievements, we can experience a deeper sense of satisfaction and personal growth. It's all about prioritizing long-term fulfillment over short-term indulgence. Keep up the great mindset and continue striving for meaningful accomplishments!

Recently I’ve been doing so much meditation and reflections of my life and I’ve found out so much truth about the world and myself. I wish to live truly according to my philosophy but fear and anxiety have been my biggest obstacle against establishing discipline. This video reminds me of what I’m doing and why. Great video.

I'm glad to hear that you've been engaging in meditation and self-reflection, and that it has led you to discover profound truths about the world and yourself. It's an incredible journey to align your life with your philosophy. I understand that fear and anxiety can be significant obstacles when it comes to establishing discipline. It's important to remember that discipline is not built overnight. It takes time and consistent effort. Start by setting small, achievable goals for yourself and gradually increase them as you gain momentum. Remember to be patient and kind to yourself throughout the process. It's natural to experience fear and anxiety, but don't let them deter you from living in accordance with your philosophy. Thank you for watching the video and for your kind words! I'm delighted that it resonated with you. Keep up the great work and stay committed to your path of personal growth and living authentically!💪
