    I love Morning Pages. I first heard of it during lockdown and decided to try my hand at it. I am already an avid journaler but I wanted to see if I could do it consistently for 100 days straight. I made it to Day 242! It was eye opening and gave me a bigger appreciation for daily journaling. I still journal regularly though not everyday like I was. Hope you feel better soon!

    Chicken soup also works when it comes to colds. You look very relaxed and it is good to know that you are taking care of yourself.

    Hi Devin, Hope you feel better. Interesting concept I use opposite version where I do a brain dump before going to sleep [which helps me get some sleep without all the thoughts running around in mind [can't seem to switch my mind off]]. This brain dump is for me only & good way to calm your mind before trying to get some well earnt proper sleep. Take care, stay safe & give my regards to your wonderful family. 💜 🖖

    I don't do formal morning pages... In the morning... I "Write at Will" For "as Long As I Want" Usually beginning with the phrase... Today: "I am..." Then Flow Forward in what I Call "Freestyle Mind Wandering" Using "Sense Lines" A Style that emphasizes various things Illustrating my mind at work.

    Interesting idea. I don't know where I'd find time to write three pages in a morning. My journal is littered with unfinished sentences where I've been interrupted by my own 8yo 'Person from Porlock' lol. Good to see you looking happier, cold notwithstanding.

    I also let perfectionism get in the way of journaling. Morning pages have never worked for me because I am not a morning person and I'm always so rushed, but I have tried this type of thing a few times at night. I should try again. I adore cute notebooks too, but my inner critic shudders at the thought of what is in those notebooks. Maybe I should use loose pages and throw them away after each writing session...

    Hello, How long does it take for you to usually finish writing three morning pages? It usually takes me about an hour and a half which seems kind of long but sometimes I have to pause because there’s nothing to write. Trying to figure out a way to get it done faster in the morning so that I can do other things. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Hi, I've had this problem too, a lot of videos say that you can write " I dunno what to write " until your stream of consciousness is back, for me I just stopped it and went back later in the day and wrote more if i wanted to, you can also try to not force 3 pages for your first few days/weeks until you find it natural to keep writing and writing until you fill up 3 pages. Another way I tried is filming myself, I tried making a video and I once talked for 3 minutes straight and felt so much better afterwards, like my mind was clear. The entire point is NOT reading what you wrote or watching what you filmed ever again, because you got those ideas and thoughts and feelings out of your mind, DON'T put them back in. Happy writing !

    I’m just starting to read the book so forgive me if it’s in there and I just haven’t gotten to it yet- I’ve been doing the morning pages for three days now- does anyone keep a separate journal for other thoughts throughout the day, or do you keep it all in the same book? I’m thinking it’s the former because the MPs aren’t meant to be read again, but maybe I’m missing something? I’d like to keep a journal that my kids can run across in later years.
