We are not supposed to elll ppl when we fast, I think its well to tell ppl about fasting , or how u fasted in the past and encourage but The Lord said to keep it to ourselves. This vould be why its taking so long too because The Lord doesnt want us to draw attention to oursleves for what we are doing.because then people conpliment us and its a form of boasting even though that may not be the intent. Fasting and prayer are to be mixed and it shouldnt takr multiple times to rid a or more demons because thats not shown in Scripture. So, continuously speaking about the fast you are on could be why its taking so long and also, if you have the Holy Spirit residing in you, a demonic spirit cannot reside. Scripture shows the ppl that they resided in were in ppl who did not know The Lord well. Our Lord said some take fasting and praying, He did not say that fasting one or more times. You have to use your faith and words, Scripture and praying , mixed with fasting. Fasting alone wont do it. The Power of life and death is on our tongue and we are what we speak and The Lord said we are slaves to whatever has mastered us so I feel you should not keep claiming demons inside of you.
