The Porsche Panamera GTS Sport Turismo slots right in between the 4S and Turbo models, both in terms of price and performance. For a big car it makes incredible use of its 453 HP, ripping off 0-60 runs in the mid-threes. It's spacious, techy, endlessly customizable from the factory, and driver focused in all the important ways.
Porsche Cars, North America provided the vehicle, insurance, and a tank of gas for this review.

The only solution for this is: Just get what we Europeans get... So easy is that! It's just ridiculous to hear all these silly excuses "for not buying a wagon". If you want "a better car than just a fucking heavy, less dynamic and completely unsporty wannabe high performance SUV", just buy such a high performance wagon and shut up! Sorry, but too many American wannabe customers are just fucking hypocrites! They always complain about "things they don't get... blah blah blah", but when there's the opportunity to get such a car, only a few cool people actually are buying such high performance wagons like Audi RS6, Mercedes-AMG E63S or Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo GTS and Turbo/S in North America.

My favorite is the tiny woman and the Navigator/Escalade battles. My Granddaughter gets PT at a joint next to a massive "yoga" studio-gym. The struggle, sometimes getting themselves and their "luggage" in and out, is Homeric. Then they get in the driver seat and just disappear. Makes me giggle every time. I hate, Hate, HATE SUVs. Big and comfy, for me, is a nice sedan or wagon. My Beloved likes the height. She had, for 12 years, a Pacifica she would not let go of. Admittedly, when it was in good kit, it was a nice car to drive on long journeys. But we spent enough keeping that thing alive over the years to buy any SUV on the market, just about. It took copious rust and an odd smell, we couldn't abate, to get her out of it.

There's a setting to indicate what kind of tires are on the car. You can say Comfort, in which case, it expects the tires to be at a lower PSI (like 33-36) and will warn when you're going too fast. You can change the setting, which will stop the speed chime. (You'll also need to increase the PSI, of course.)

Idiots like you really have NO FUCKING CLUE at all about German high performance vehicles, about their technical refinement and bench mark in the industry and of course about their perfect reliability for a daily driving in a country like Germany, where you can accelerate these cars each day up to 300 kmh on the Autobahn without any problems at all! Do you know what it means to drive all these German high performance cars on a German Autobahn each day, without any issues...? The truth is: German cars (and a few Japanese cars) are the most reliable cars here in Germany, period! That's just a fact which you can read every year in German car insurance and savety statistics. You just have to "rethink" your shitty fake news affection..., little schoolboy! Guys like you really have no fucking clue at all, why German cars are that good! Here in Germany you can see the reason for it every day on the thousands of kilometers of German Autobahn. All the German carmakers build cars to be bullet proof first on the German Autobahn! And if these cars are perfect for German high speed and B- roads, reliability should be no problem for other countries at all, like in the USA or all the European countries, where you have just a fucking ridiculous speed limit of 55 - 75mph... LOL! But an idiot like you certainly won't understand at all what I'm trying to telling you. Just shut the fuck up, if you have no fucking clue about daily driving of really fast and save but technically bullet proof high performance cars "Made in Germany"! After owning more than 10 different fast business cars from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz in the past 15 years, all these cars were literally perfect without anny issues at all! Clowns like you have no fucking clue about these things! Just learn how to maintain a used car properly, little schoolboy! That's certainly one of your biggest problems, if you have "issues" with German cars! Little smart asses like you, who are claiming stupid things about "reliability issues with German high performance cars" mostly have just no fucking clue about servicing and maintenance of such cars. Fucking naive clowns... just shut up!

Just had one of these in sedan form roll in lowly-optioned. Much better engine than the 4S engine for the price. IMO, the 2.9 and 3.0 just do not feel enough for the weight. The hybrid makes up the difference, but that weight you can feel with the air suspension. Rear steer feels insane when your making low speed but quick turns. Makes racking them easy!

I love the way it looks. It’s a shame they don’t sell more of them here. I’d be tempted buy a gts and tune it over getting a turbo due to the difference in price. You could potentially get more of the options you wanted on a gts, add the tune to increase power and be around or slightly under a turbo or turbo s with lighter options.

With legendary AMG depreciation, you can probably get half a dozen used E63 wagons for the price of a Panamera.

I feel like the detuned twin turbo v8s sound a lot better. (Perhaps less reliance on the turbos). I have a 2014 550i and at least from the inside I feel like the engine sounds a lot more organic than the M5.

Thank you for the review. One humble request: for the love of God, please, please with sugar on top, use a gimbal or any form of stabilization, in order to avoid the up and down bouncing as you go around the car. There must be a budget for it.. Cheers!

I'm going to have to wait 'til these hit the used market. E63's continue to be unicorns and this being a lower horsepower alternative, it may go overlooked.

After you said the RS6 and GTS Panamera were roughly the same price I went and checked out the prices in our market, weirdly there’s a massive difference between those two here to the tune of a $100k or more roughly. I think a bone stock base Panamera 3.0 V6 comes in just under a no optioned RS6

I like this but for the price I'd much rather have an E63S AMG wagon. I'd still have money left over to get cosmetic mods and an exhaust too
