Wow, clear evidence that a fool and his money will soon be parted. Check out the Alton brown method for stove too popcorn. Or you could use a soup pop and shake it every ten seconds a few times. Or if you must buy a whirly pop for a whole lot less.

Our stovetop popper isn't for everyone-and we didn't intend it to be. The Whirley is a great alternative, but if you have an induction cooktop or just prefer the simplicity of premium cookware that's easy to clean (and dishwasher safe), the Popsmith would be a butter (wink) bet. Our multi-layered metal bottom was designed to prevent burning and sticking. Happy popping! We're universal snack lovers, regardless of anyone's preferred popping method!

@@ilovepopsmith I think it is about as useful as the Hutzler 571 Banana Slicer. I own a knife I would never buy one. I also own a soup pot and would never buy your product and have contempt for anyone that does. Its popcorn not rocket science.

@@danieljacobson74you're only half right. Whirley pops are absolutely worth it.

@@youdontseeanoldmanhavinatw4904I literally made the same thing in a cast iron pan earlier today. You really don't need a whirly pop. You just need a few minutes to figure out the how tos of it and control your heat.
