And also you could have added two peninsulas in the center of both of the ponds where their is a line so instead of looking something like this➡️🏝⬆️➡️🏝maybe it could look like this ➡️🏝⬅️⬆️➡️🏝⬅️ or for a simpler version 🏝⬅️⬆️➡️🏝 And for the lighting maybe add either this ➡️🏝⬅️⬆️➡️🏝 or this 🏝⬅️⬆️➡️🏝⬅️ the arrow going ⬆️ is the piece of land in between the ponds and the arrows going like this ⬅️➡️ are the peninsula's. I don't know just a thought so you don't have to walk around the entire pond unless you want to, but now it is a little late.

It's suspended fine clay/silt particulate, you get that in a lot of newly dug ponds that are dug in gravel. You see it in glacial fed waterways, and old gravel pits too.

@Originz Fishing it also can kill fish if there's to much of it, ponds near me that had algae blooms in the summer suffocated the fish because at night they stop producing oxygen and start using it from the water drowning the fish in the night, this won't be an issue since gar can breath air since they have a lung.

Crazy thought but have you considered adding an artificial island to the middle of the ponds, even a floating one perhaps, for the turtles it would give them a place to hang aside from the shoreline, and possibly other terrestrial creatures, and what about stocking the pond with smaller fish in order to build up the food population for when you aren't there just feeding them?

Was wondering why the peninsulas weren't accessible to each other. Very wise to think about lighting and KZread videos in your design!

Are you going to add another security in case it rains and overfill? To avoid fishes swim out? amazing ponds!!!

I was worried about the other turtles, slightly scared you were just going to leave them . i am happy to know you realize they depend on you too much just to leave them.

They really don't depend on him though. The things he gives them are just snacks for them

Hopefully you’ve already stocked baitfish in your ponds. It’s essential to get the baitfish established before you add predators to the ponds

Ponds are coming along really fast. I appreciate you giving up timeliness and plans for the turtles and gar to move into new home. I miss seeing the turtles even if they are really sluggish in the winter.

It's noted that in the wild, Alligator Gar eat carp such as a species called Buffalo They are also being reintroduced into our nation's rivers to tackle on the Invasive species of Asian carp that has become a major problem in the northern United States
