Considering putting coilovers on mine 🤔

I've got the plus model with keyless and Digital dash. Great car but looking to sell as I need something bigger. Wish I could afford to keep it in the garage for a weekend I went for the grey dash but I can see the appeal of the red with a red exterior It's a brilliant daily

You state that the Polo GTI is a lot lighter than the Golf GTI …. Yet there is barely 60 kg between the Polo GTI and the me 7.5 Golf GTI performance. Part of the problem with the Polo GTI is that it is heavy and has no Real USP, compared to its immediate rivals. They are pretty good value though. However, if you spec’d the Polo GTI up to include all that the rather well equipped Golf GTI Performance had as standard, the difference in price was surprisingly narrow

Weight difference is greater when you compare with a DSG equipped Golf.

Good mpg aswell mid 40s

We run a Polo GTI (but the older 1.4TSI Twin charge), it is great fun. Can't believe that 2.0 litre/stage 1 was still averaging 46 mpg despite some spirited driving!

I've had one for around a week now, this exact model...I am in love with it, however the MPG is a problem..around town in eco mode you would be lucky with 25 mpg..around 39 on motorways but as soon as you have a heavy foot it all goes out the window lol

Are you thinking of changing the Fiesta for one, Sam?

Hi Sam good vid now I was thinking about what would a polo gti PP (performance pack) be like I was thinking of something of 245 hp 360 nm and a nice tight chassis what r ur thoughts keep it up the good work 👍👍

Yes so that would have similar power to this Stage 1 car. It certainly gives the car more performance but the driving dynamics are very much for daily duties that twisty back road drive. Thank you for the positive feedback 👍

50MPG? On what planet lol. I average about 34MPG, at best i will sometimes get about 44MPG

I'm getting 30ish mpg average mate totally standard at minute I've never had 50mpg

Same, it absolutely drinks petrol...if you want to put your foot down then its 20mpg or less

@@whatshisface4343 I get about 20 if you boot it and if I get 30mpg it's really rare and it's a low mileage unmodified 21 plate .I had a forged mapped Corsa vxr before this it had loads of modifications running over 250 and it was doing better mpg than this.

A girls Golf GTI I always call the polo GTI

Not a fan of the red interior, looks cheap and tacky

Nothing wrong with a bit of a retro 👌. . .obviously very subjective, but I think it lifts the cabin and makes it look quite sporty 😎
