I just hope legends ZA doest get the legends of arceus treatment what I mean by that is the abanding the gams shortly after the game comes out with legends of arceus their was no dlc very very few mystery gifts but sword and sheild and Scarlett and violet got dlc. So I'm ganna be possed off is legends of ZA doest get dlc,events and mystery gifts the hole reason why legends of arceus sales fell off compared to pokemon S&V was due to rumors of dpc for S&V were rumored and leaked days after the relase of S&V pared with S&V was a new generation of pokemon and pokemon games tend to sell more when it's a new generation vs a remake in most cases.

Preferrably they shoudn't rush Gen 10 to coincide with the 30th anniversary but this current release schedule seems promising.

I agree, every game has bugs. Evey. Game. Cyberpunk for instance... Look at Bethesda games. Time = quality is not fact. The franchise is already losing steam between a lack of game, a lackluster teaser, uninteresting 7 star raids, and the absolute dismal state of PoGo. Frankly, it's disappointing how much radio silence there is.

​@@JeanDefee if we got all the details about how the game is being made I promise you everyone would be whining about the designs, mechanics, the region, etc. some within reason others without one , the radio silence is not necessarily a bad thing since it gives the devs an opportunity to focus on their vision for the games, but it can be a bad sign if we don't get to hear absolutely nothing about it (valve style)

Fair to say, the fact that refunds were issued for Scarlet and Violet probably forced Nintendo to meet Gamefreak and TPC to get their acts together since Pokemon is such a big first-party title, especially when no Nintendo-based first-party titles were released in other platforms EVER. However, the future seems bright given that their last Direct put them in a position way ahead of both Sony and Xbox.

I doubt that refund were the problem seeing as games sales are through the roof. And not only that it was leaked the game was glitchy and all the reviews when the game came out said it was glitchy. The expectation for the very 1st open world pokemon game was glitchy we all knew it was coming that way.

The game glitching as much as it did at launch, falling through the floor, the game constantly studdering, memory leaks deleting people's Pokemon, the game crashing at random, etc. Nintendo giving full refunds was a good move. It would have looked REALLY bad if they sold such a defective product and squirreled the profits away.

@@shawnschaefer4485 The games do sell very well, but as a company that is very overprotective of its IPs, Nintendo would stand to lose face if they can't even properly develop games based on their IPs (regardless of sales revenues) eepecially since people tend to make arguably better fan-made games based on the same IPs.

I really hope this means they're slowing down. Not only do I still play SV and my older switch Pokemon games, I still play the ones from older consoles. We don't need a constant stream of new Pokemon games, we need the new ones that do come out to be at least as high of quality as the classics.

That. It’s a miracle that despite its clearly unpolished status, I still can enjoy the heck of pokemon Violet… And kinda sad too, withone more year of development, it could have literally beaten Emerald and HGSS as the best pokemon game ever (third best is nothing to scoff at though).

Same, I'm in the middle of a Prof Oak challenge in ORAS right now because I refuse to pay full price for a game as buggy as SV but still want to play Pokemon. After I'm done with this challenge I'll probably try to complete the dex in Legends just for a console change. And if they released a Pokemon Cyan or something as a fixed version of SV I'd probably buy it after checking reviews. But the fact they haven't managed to fix a lot of the non-game breaking bugs tells me the base of the games is just THAT bad. I want them to take the time to build a solid base for Gen 10 so I can go back to playing the games on release.

I agree the best timeline for Pokémon would be Pokémon Legends Z-A releasing in November 2025-December 2025 Gen 10 releasing in November 2026- December 2026

I just got back into Pokemon (gen 1 nerd) is that really what people are on about? Since Pokemon has new monsters every few years isn't the timeline absolutely ruined? How would they even begin to put together a timeline when retcons are basically the canon (most consistent feature)

If they REALLY want to stick with yearly releases, the smart move would be to work on building more teams of competent devs so they can work on more projects at once, giving each more time for development. They can definitely afford it, and let's face it, Pokemon games have ALWAYS been made by teams that, quite frankly, aren't all that skilled on a technical level. They were able to coast by on weaker hardware for many years, but they just don't have what it takes to properly optimize games on the Switch.

Hopefully they listen to the most important parts of this video

Pokemon is the biggest multimedia franchise of the world. If they choose to put more effort and time into it and hire more employees, they can do so immediately. They just need a push and Scarlet Violet was that push. They just couldn't release scarlet and violet that game just wasn't ready yet but they did it anyway. Even though gen 9 sold super well, they can't release another game with this performance and with so many glitches

The fact they're (Supposedly) working on both ZA and Gen 10 at the same time tells me this isn't the good timeline. They're splitting the team again when they shouldn't be. If they put all hands on deck for both then we'll get quality insurance. If they split the team up then we risk one or both games being fucked like last time. I'm hoping the Gen 10 rumor is false for that exact reason, because if isn't then we're almost guaranteed to be screwed.

Having multiple teams work on multiple games at once isn't an issue for a franchise as massive as Pokemon. The issue lies within not giving the teams enough time to make something proper. Just take Palworld as an example, it was made by a small team and some of them had no prior experience in developing games. They were given the time and somehow made something that sold as many copies as a mainline pokemon game despite being a studio nobody knew about before.

​@@RickyRiceBNah, I never bothered with trade evos aside from filling my dex and still got way more out of the older games (esp crystal and platinum) than anything post ORAS, at best. The amount of post game content just keeps slipping, that's where the value is in older games.

I HATE rumor videos, especially with nintendo game because they are so often wrong. They might be able to predict what games will be shown in a direct but contents of games that havent shown gameplay? Nintendo and gamefreak are very disconnected from its fanbase so these prediction so often fall flat.

I understand knu got stuff right on the last few games. But we have to also remember he didnt know about ZA hours before its reveal trailer. So be very very skeptical of his information he also started slipping on infor towards the end of SV as well with the other mythical, the pk hex features and other stuff

Tpc retiring Ash was the smartest decision ever. Half the reason for the insane release schedule was because the anime, the tcg and the games had an extremely rigid schedule that could not be disrupted in terms of sequence, timing, merchandising and marketing. It’s an astonishing well oiled machine but with scarlet and violet you could really see the cracks showing from the pressure.

Please, don't fully trust in Centro Leaks. They "confirmed" Pokemon Star in 2021 and that Switch 2 would be announced in first half 2023 (Then delete the posts) lol. I was in their FB Group and all the mods are kids who block all users that thinks different to them. Oh, and i won't have hope to high. Everybody knows that when they show the first trailer with the note "No final product" we will say "I know graphics are not everything, but...". But hey, if they show something that can shout my mouth, I'm fine with that.

The title is just... YES, TPC does listen. They almost always do, actually. Their partners like Niantic, though. They don't. But people seem to always assume listening means instant action. No, that's not possible. Game development takes years or at least months. Even if they listen to criticism, the follow-up for that will happen on the next game to be developed, which releases at least a year later. People need to be realistic about this. Why do you think SV never has the Shiny sound/sparkle effect like LGPE or PLA? Because people actually complained it made Shiny hunting "too easy". And why PLZA doesn't have a release date yet? Because people complained SV was rushed when it came out. The response to these complains only came at least months later, never right away.

Yeahhh.. complaining that made it too easy is fairly ridiculous. It simply alerts the player of success in a positive way. Do you want the player to be sad, disappointed as well as drained of tens or hundreds of hours of their lives just from playing a video game? Seems like a no brainer to not change that feature.

Something to note quickly: TPC has no hand in the making in the game and are a company made to handle anything that isn't the games like the Advertisement, Anime, Manga, Toys, card games, etc. The games are 100% handle by GameFreak and TPC can't do anything about it as GameFreak are their boss. GF own the majority of TPC next to Niantic. However, something to note about TPC is that they listen. They tried interviewing people for NFT and Blockchain only to get push back which stop them in their track. They listen to the pokemon disliking of Ai Art and from there recently bad and remove people from their art competitions and ETC. TPC often listen more so then GF, however GF are now slowly listening to people. It just as the OP commenter said. Game Development normally takes years, you will only see instant change during development not after the game is released.

GF only sometimes listens to criticism. People said SwSh was rushed too, and GF pushed out the last three games even more rushed than that - and it shows. I do think the only reason they listened this time is they're being forced to by Nintendo and TPC. And to be fair, a lot of the rushing has been so TPC can keep pushing out new seasons of the anime rather than just spend more than one per region. Hopefully this and the end of Ash's spotlight means that pressure is gone now.

Scarlet and Violet could have masterpieces if they had only spent 1-2 years more in development and polishing the good stuff that was already there. As it is, it felt like an apology for SwSh that was severely gimped and hampered by the release schedule.

This does seem like the best option that the Pokémon company has taken in quite a long time. They need all the time they can get to make sure their upcoming games are perfectly running well with no bugs and their story is worth getting invested in terms of gameplay.

@@ruby9803his leaks for s/v didn’t make sense and nobody could truly figure them out, then when the game released he made a bunch of bullshit up to make his “leaks” seem legit to the stupid people who will believe anything. He isn’t even a leaker and all the information he got right came from other sources. Don’t get me even started on the dumpster fire before Z-A because he had absolutely no clue what was going on and then after it was announced he tried to “leak” information that was already going around that people digging around had already found out.

What a truly great Pokemon game needs, IMO, is the following basic stuff: - Good battles (animations, backgrounds, quick and snappy gameplay, the core of the game is this and it should be the BEST part.) - Some kind of difficulty setting (Normal should be your typical Pokemon game, but "challenge mode" should be something like no using items mid battle, no swapping after defeating an enemy, AI chooses their moves and swaps efficiently, trainers could have slightly higher level pokemon/evolved forms/one more of them on their team with good items equiped on them) - If they want to make an open world game, make it make sense. (Story should accomodate for the places you visit, but some areas should just be "too high level" for the player to navigate easily. Good players could still do it, but that should be their reward for being good) - Interesting Gym challenges and battles (Gyms should be more than just a mediocre puzzle, some battles and a boss at the end. Make gyms teach the player something while being a fun challenge to complete while we traverse the building) - An honest to God good story (You can make a simple to digest story for the kids while being engaging for adults. Its more difficult than making a lame ass, barely coherent one, but its worth it) I could add way more stuff, but with what I already have I feel nobody will read it, so I will stop here.

I would love to see a World Championship type thing for Gen 10 where you are the Champion of a chosen region, you get to go to all the previous regions, minus Hisui, collect all the Pokemon, battle all gym leaders and Kahunas, and it ends with a Championship Battle vs all the Champions.

I hope they are saving it for a launch game for the next Nintendo console and during the direct if they show off the new console that way they could show the complete or close complete game play

As someone who haven't played Pokemon since i was a kid when gen 3 was new, i really appreciate the news. Bought all the major games except Let's go and there are simply an overwhelming amount of content to go through, this gives me a bit more time to finish both scarlet and swords dlc's

It’s just gonna throw me for a loop because I got used to the TCG release pattern. For example, SwSh was Format D, SwSh DLC was format E, and Spinoffs were Format F. With PLZA coming probably in the fall or winter, what will happen with the releases in the TCG when it comes to the pattern?

I'm assuming/hoping ZA will be a Switch 2 launch title.

It would be interesting if PLZA got released before Christmas (not talking abt this yr) to see if it could do bigger #s than PLA. The art and music of Arceus were done so well but I feel like the random Jan release prevented it from getting the bigger love it could’ve received.

I LOVE how the animation is becoming more and more realistic instead of the regular og Anime style. Who knows? What with technology being as it is and Pokémon utilizing such animation tech, we may just get an irl Pokémon game after all😊

I think the release strategy around Legends Arceus shows that GameFreak or Pokemon CO viewed Legends as a risk so they padded it with BDSP and Gen 9. Now that they know the fan base likes the concept, they feel comfortable using one as their main game for the year

Im good with the wait times for these games. I like that they are slowing down and hope it means we get more polished games with better attention to detail. I do hope that due to these delayed release times they also cook up some fun events for scarlet and violet. More challenging 7 star raids like how the mewtwo was to keep us entertained until the next game

I was a PKMN-Trainer from the first day of the Blue Edition-Release. I LOOOVED the gameplay. The great mixing of battling, puzzle an minimalistic roleplay with humor, mystic and suspense. I find, they made great developments between the Generations, trying to optimize the experience, make the handling comfotabler rised the complexity of and rised the graphics but did never lost their minimalistic charme. The peek were definately Gen 4. They get loss of storytelling in following Genrrations but still up to Gen 7, they did most of the things right. But when i played first Sword/Shield i was so fcked up. And after 1h of gameplay, i imediately sold tis peace of shit. I thaugt "oh maybe they overcoached it once" and as the remakes of D/P came out, i was actually hyped to play my fav game in a glow-up-version an it was actually a lot of fun, but i cant ignore, that ILCA also did only the minimum of work and nobody knows why tf they did not remake Platinium. But then we got scarlet/violet. Dont understand me wrong, but i was one of the players who never ever asked for a 3D interpretation of the Pokemon-Game. But over this it was the biggest blame in gaming history to se how the Franchise with the biggest marketing on this whole planet earth calculated with the dumpness of their fans and did absolutely nothing for 60€/$. This game is so soul-less and lazy designed, that i will never ever play a pokemon game. It is not about the "low-performing console" cause we see, 6 years before, BOTW set new benchmarks with 10% of budget. And Scarlet/Violet are looking worse than any gamecube-jump'n'run. They just jumped the shark!

Monolith Soft took better advantage of the Switch with Xenoblade 2, which was a rushed mess and arguably had much harder development than Pokémon. If Pokémon's management isn't fixed, then Pokémon will probably remain subpar, regardless of how long the development is.

I could see generation 10 being at the 30th anniversary of Pokémon in 2026. It would make sense for the 30th anniversary to start with a new generation. As what better way to celebrate the 30th anniversary for Pokémon than with a new generation. Just like the 20th anniversary for Pokemon in 2016 with sun and moon and the start of generation 7. Pokemon horizons I think would be three years old by 2026 since it was delayed to 2023 due to the situation with OLM and their staff for the anime. As for legends z-a when it was announced, I always believed that more information about that game would be either this June or August. Legends z-a would either be out by early or late 2025. Once generation 10 comes out in 2026, everything for generation 10 will also come out soon after that consists in a Pokémon generation by the time the games that start a generation for Pokemon comes out. As we also need to take in the fact everything surrounding the mainline games and that make up the Pokémon franchise as well. And as for a remake of gen 5, that would probably come out during gen 10 or 11 probably. The remakes are still profitable for the franchise and they usually before bdsp would have new designs for the old characters including the protagonists of those remakes, locations, routes, and music for that remake. When they do finish with remakes, they can use the legends games to revisit old regions like alola, hoenn, Kanto, johto, unova, paldea, and galar and of course the games that start the generation like gen 10, 11, and so on with new regions. They are already doing it with kalos and sinnoh with the legends games. After all the parts of pokemon is to see new regions, new pokemon, new characters, and sometimes visits old regions, places, and characters. Since that is why I still enjoy the franchise and still play the games. And as well as watch the anime as a 27 year old. That would also mean that three generations will be 4 years long now. Gen 3, gen 4, and gen 9 if or when generation 10 comes out in 2026.

@@Yusei255 what better way to celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary with generation 10 for a new console. Just like what happened with Pokémon’s 20th anniversary with sun and moon gen 7 and their 10th anniversary in 2006 with diamond and pearl gen 4. Gen 10 is obviously most likely going to be on the next console. Legends z-a is probably the last pokemon game for the switch since we have had two generations and some spinoff games. Depending on when legends z-a releases in 2025, either early or late 2025. I can’t see legends z-a releasing in mid 2025 since most pokemon aren’t released in the middle of the year, not even mainline pokemon games have released in June or July. Generation 10 releasing in 2026 is not impossible since the 30th anniversary is only 2 years away. Legends z-a and generation 10 is also being developed almost at the same time just like gen 9 and legends arceus was developed around the same time. Starting the 30th anniversary with a new generation would also make the most sense since they can promote everything in the pokemon franchise including a new generation starting in 2026. At this point, it’s probably likely that the only thing we will get this year is that TCG pocket mobile game. I doubt Pokémon is going to start a new generation with the next console for Nintendo since they never do that with a new generation for Pokemon. But ultimately we wouldn’t technically know until they tell us and this is all speculation. However I’m betting that the tenth generation is releasing in 2026 with Pokémon’s 30th anniversary. That would be that Pokémon have three generations that were four years long, with gen 3 being four years long, gen 4 being four years long, and gen 10 being four years long if and/or when gen 10 releases in 2026 just two years away. Pokemon horizons would be 3 years old by 2026, given how it was supposed to come out in 2022 but was delayed into 2023. And the mainline anime is always 3 or 4 years long when it airs on tv for every generation that has happened for 9 generations not two years long. And as for a gen 5 remake, it would probably be during gen 10 or gen 11 which would probably be time for a remake. Plus every time a new generation is on a new console/handheld, then a remake would come. It happened with gen 3 on the gameboy advance with fire red and leaf green, it happen with gen 4 with diamond and pearl on the ds with heartgold and soul silver, it happened with gen 6 with x and y on the 3ds with Oras, and it also happened with bdsp with gen 8 with sword and shield on the switch. Then there’s let’s go which was a remake of yellow for yellow’s 20th anniversary in 2018 in gen 7. Bdsp will be turning 3 years old this year away, so it would somewhat make sense for a gen 5 remake to be somewhere during gen 10 or gen 11. Since a remake of gen 5 and a mainline game is not releasing this year and if it was to release this year then they would have revealed the remake or any mainline game in May last month and/or June this month. The latest a Pokémon game gets revealed after February is June and May with Oras in May, ultra sun and moon in 2017 in June, and let’s go in 2018 in May.

Two points that seem notable: (1) If they do not bring a new game until end of 2025, the competitive pokemon ruleset (regulation) will be stuck with a double restricted format for a year and that would be strange. (2) It might be possible that GF only takes some time for the next gen being a system seller for the switch 2 and for no other reason.

4:38 If you look at the pattern. They weren’t slowing down, or keeping that “one game a year” pace either. They were ramping the speed up towards the end there. Scarlet and Violet derailed this. Because it had so many glitches and potential game braking issues that they couldn’t ignore it. After they made an announcement stating that they’d slow down and focus on quality. I haven’t heard a peep from them. Even in terms of Legends. Which I’m happy for. They needed to slow tf down.

Give me a fully expansive kanto-jhoto remake, all gen 1&2 Pokémon including legendaries like Celebi hooh and lugia. Let us travel between both regions as early as the 3rd gym. Add hidden gems like crystal onyx and giant dragonite, maybe even expand on “irregular” Pokémon. Give us old heads the nostalgia with a new twist but also allow the younger fans to enjoy the essence of the past.

i think the fact we're getting another legends game to begin with is proof theyre listening. look at the sales difference between legends arceus and SV. if all they wanted was money, theyd throw legends in the trash and keep at it with mainline entries the future of pokemon is so bright and i think legends arceus and sv are truly wonderful games, but it only gets brighter from here!

@@Yusei255 Just to be clear, when I say "take their time" I don't mean delay indefinitely, I just mean take a bit longer than the current cycle they're on. Without seeing the merchandise sales trends I couldn't say for sure. However, they could probably easily just make up a special pack of limited edition cards or something, make a deal with some toy company and easily extend the life of the current gen of Pokemon for 6-12 months. It's one of the few IP that probably could sustain a small delay, the franchise almost prints money The new cycle is dictated by the release of the games (although, like you said, the real money is in everything else, but people won't stop buying Pokemon merch because a gen came out a little bit later than usual)

If they're taking more time to make the games, does anyone think they'll add all the Pokemon?

I'm hoping that they can do a better job than the previous because gen 8, dp remakes and gen 9 did not help improve with the technical stuff including corporating all the pokemon that were obtainable in the main gen and the remakes

I need to get the next generation system because I haven't played a new pokemon game since Ultra Moon.

Also, potentially it will launch with/after Switch 2 gets released. Which will come no later than March '25. Should be interesting for sure. This will either be the best game, or the absolute worst. No in between here.

I guess that because the game will be in Lumiouse city 🙂... they might introduce Lumiousian Greninja / Chesnaught / Delphox ... IDK im not sure but just they did the same thing in Legends Arceus 😅😂 (btw i wish they made Delphox with blue flame lol 🫂)

I think TPC should take a step back and look at the top rated ROM hacks to see what it is that fans truly want from the series. Unbound would be a good place to start, but I dont think TPC can make anything that good anymore. HG/SS was their Magnum Opus

I think if Z-A has any form of online stuff that is potentially more in depth than PLA, i'd say there's a good chance that they try to draw out its lifespan, and that would be amazing. another thing, I 100% think that at this point they realized that the franchise is having trouble keeping its playerbase intact as other games similar to pokemon come out, and that the only way to get back players is to change how they do business. also, I personally wouldn't be surprised if nintendo saw day 1 S/V and were probably really unhappy with TPC and gamefreak,since nintendo has a history of trying to keep games on their hardware from having disastrous day 1 launches. in any case, we'll just have to see.

To be fair Legends Arceus released January 2022 and Scarlet/Violet released November 2022 almost a whole year apart Also gen I 96, gen II 99, gen III 02, IV 06, V 10, VI 13, VII 16, VIII 19, IX 22 3 year gap between every gen except the gaps either side of Gen IV. So a 2025 or 2026 is very much on par

I know they 100% use pokemon to sell new consoles and devices so I know this will never happen but I'd kill for a pokemon game with all the current gen regions and pokemon in a single game. Either drop everything to gen 3 graphics and make it for our phone so we can play like an old Gameboy color. Or, make it for pc since you can have gbc/gba roms. At the start you get to pick where you want to be born and start your journey. And like the show depending on which badge you have the gyms change which pokemon team they use. And you can go in whatever order your heart desires. Then once you beat your region you can move on to the next and choose whichever one you want.

They have to make up the way SV was launched. Even though i think there is fun to be had, it is glitchy, had framerate issues, and save data corruption apparently. Though, it stil made them quite a bit of money so, who knows

I'm happy that they're taking a break and taking their time with developing games. I'm sick and tired of half-assed pokemon games to the point where I did not purchase scarlet or violet because of the lack of quality in the new games. I hope pokemon legends ZA breaks that cycle and is actually a good game.

All I hope is that Legends ZA isnt a way for them to bring over all the pokemon that arent available on the Switch, as a way to make an excuse to shut down bank.

We can't really count bdsp in them releasing a lot of games since it was completely outsourced, so in a sense,that year's game's worth was legends arceus and then SV, so it was pretty much the same as usual Also, people say they want less games but I also see so many people asking for the next game as soon as one comes out, like ever since bdsp came out people started asking for gen 5 remakes, even tho it should be obvious it would be after the gen 10 games, and then people were asking for more let's go games, even tho it was pretty much said unnecessary since there were already gen 1 remakes and it sucked, at this point, I am more sick of the community than anything, they never let them innovate, never want them to get past the old generation, and also never be happy about anything, like they would complain about 1 bad thing a game does than the 100 good thing it does and what it sets up for the future But I would them to only to za for next year and do gen 10 for 30th anniversary, it makes it so much of a bigger event and also gives it more time, maybe release a side game in the meantime (that is if za comes out early 2025, otherwise notjing needs to happen) Also, both metroid and ZA revealed the date to be 2025 in kind of a similar fashion, could they be releasing both as release titles for the next console? Honestly GameFreak taking their time with the mainline games is better than any reveals I’ve ever heard. I’m not expecting them to look like incredibly polished like Mario and Zelda but I want the game to feel smooth and not glitchy like Scarlet and Violet was. Hopefully with the added time we can finally get a battle facility like the Battle Frontier or the Battle Tower cause I missed those additions to the game.

Would be nice if they took advantage of spin offs more for these years that Gamefreak takes a break.

I'll believe it when I see it. Pokémon hasn't been genuinely high quality in 12 years. Scarlet and Violet was one of the most tone deaf games I had ever seen, and it still sold 30 million copies. People still bought it.

Speak for yourself, and don't bring unnecessary negativity. SV we're the best experiences I've had in a pokemon game since gen3. Yes, it wasn't as polished. But my response to that is... Ok? Yes, the environment looked weird sometimes, but like, everyone just has a hate filter on the entire game because JUST that. Just about every single pokemon in the games have brand new models and textures. The last time that technically happens was gen5 to gen6 into 3D. The stories were some of the best, and so many people dismiss it because the main focus isn't a stereotypical villain. Majority of Pokemon fans see pokemon try something new, and immediately hate it because it's not what the pokemon company was starting to overdue. I mean, come on. They did the evil team mix up trope TWICE IN A ROW. One of which failed miserably, and the other... Ok, but could've done better. And considering the fact that the DLCs added more in terms of lore for OTHER regions was also a pretty big plus. The games were phenomenal, and so many people dismiss it because "looks bad, so therefore, it is bad" when they're wrong. It's really only the environment that looks off, especially in my playthroughs of the games. Everything was beyond the original expectations I had for it. And what I'm about to say next might be controversial, considering how many people hate SV just because... But I had more fun with it, than I did with legends Arceus. And I'm hoping that ZA takes the lead ahead of both of them. And even if it did, SV will always still be number 2.

Me wanting Pokémon to actually be good again and being upset that SV looks worse than _Mario 64_ in some places isn't unnecessary negativity. It's called having actual standards.

Nintendo has two strategies to shorten game development time and TPC will definetly do the same. 1. Expanding/hiring more people. 2. Making AA games. 1 AA pokemon game per year until next Gen is ready.

Also for 1 small city upscaled trying to make a game from it this is something far away from game freaks scope of talent they would have to make it massive and have sky areas or underground areas and every little nook and cranny would need to be accessible this isn't something they can manage well this is something that is going to fall apart.

this is all speculation on my end next year in jan feb we get legends ZA then in nov dec illca will release a bd sp version of black and white mid 26 game freak will release black and white 2 using ideas from sword/shield and legends ZA the end of 27 will see the launch of gen 10 on the switch

I hope this rumor is correct. and that we get to see games that feel like passion projects instead of items pumped out to meet a quota. they really dropped the ball in terms of quality with swsh and sv.

Honestly pokemon as a franchise has so much fodder for games outside of main series. Personally? I wish they took an extra year with gen four remake spread out for longer and have gen nine after that. Pokemon ranger on switch with new mechanics? Maybe motion control joycon? We had legends, mystery dungeon and bdsp Dec/ Jan: bdsp March/ April: legends arceus June/ July: mystery dungeon September/ October: that fighting game/ unite dlc/ anime stuff/ dlc for the previous games like platinum stuff November/ December: Pokemon ranger Would have been better and just pull gen nine for a year

I mean, in America 🇺🇸 when Gold and Sliver came out, the gen 2 anime was out before the games, so the anime ironically was drumming up hype for gen 2. So stalling for gen 10 is possible even if it's the whole world now.🤷‍♀️ Heck, even a movie with a supporting cast Ash returning showing off gen 10 would print money. If 30th happens it's a November release 100%.

so 2 years for za, than back to 1 year dev time. i doubt they will really increase their games quality. nor that we will ever get a national dex, while they cut corners

It would be perfect to me if instead of this z-a releasing next year for it to release the end of this year and for to release a couple free dlcs the next year to keep us up and hyped until they officially announce gen 10 because like cmon yall talking about gen 10 when the last game hasnt even released regardless they have alot of potential here in my opinion with what they can or should do being that z-a probably will be the last switch game before the next switch console release and it would be perfect for them to do the last game super hella extra with a great leap since the last as a farwell leading to the even bigger leap in game advancement for gen 10 that woild be the ideal and lead to the most game advancement for us
