Last year I was talking about your channel and recommended to a woman with a mouse problem she should do the peanut oil, water, and bowl trap. Didn't hear anything back from her for a while and just last night she was telling me the trap worked wonderfully! She caught two mice with it and hasn't had an issue since then. And I don't know if I'm happy or a tad worried I was able to identify the brand of mousetraps they use at work. ^_^'

I'm curious to know how he tames the wild mice he decides to keep? I would guess just interaction over time. For a while I had a raccoon come to eat my birdseed and I eventually got him/her to come to my door and take food out of my hand. It got tame enough that when I opened the door, he/she would come right to me. Fuzzy loved pizza and BK's chicken fries. I haven't see Fuzzy for a few months. 🙁

I have been developing a similar trap using a PVC tube. I like the idea of a tape measure for the return spring and trigger. I have been using rubber bands and a magnet but that seems a much better solution, I might try it. I will post some video and simple plans when I am happy with it if you like.

they're not heavy enough nor are they falling far enough to generate enough gravitational pull/weight to break a spine like that. Mice can jump from much higher places on to much harder surfaces and be totally fine because they're quite literally not heavy enough to break anything.

However, when I moved to New York City 4 years ago they seemed to come out of the woodwork. This was a shock for me. Before, when I lived in Florida, I would not have appreciated your videos (however I would not have written hate mail to you).
