I test drove the e-2008 and loved it straight away! Currently using a 2017 version of the Petrol 2008 and will be switching to an e-2008 very soon.

Just drove 500 km, in each direction, with the same two stops my family needs travelling with our diesel and no extra time needed for charging our e-208 (yep, the smaller brother). Nice range! 😍

Thanks for sharing. It's great to hear of people using electric vehicles over longer distances.

@@CompletecarIe Yeah, I have to add that I was in Eco mode except when overtaking. Did not drive slowly but max speed is 120km/h and over 2/3 of that is 100 or 80 km/h. 28C outside but chilly inside despite using Eco mode. 4 persons in the car and luggage.

Nice review but some close up footage of the interior and what you are mentioning could make it better.

In Devon which doesn’t have the infrastructure for public charging. 7 KW charging points 4-5hours is not great. Our one public one here has been out of action for the last 6 weeks. Until rural & local towns have got 50 & 100 kw charging points are common place & the cost of the cars new come down it is beyond many. Then there is the cost of the wall box at home with room on your fuse board. I notice with nearly all the electric models there is no dedicated place to store the cables, why do they have to take up valuable boot space. What is wrong with having storage trays under the front seats possibly.

Just test drove this I find the brake pedal excessively big and much higher than the accelerator. the foot rest for the left leg too small making it uncomfortable for long drives the steering wheel shape too is odd you can't turn the wheel and let it slide back through your hands pity other than that it is good.

I don't think this has been designed from the ground up to be an electric car? The platform exists as a petrol and diesel, as well as electric. The electric version has no useable frunk, like the ICE versions, because it's a repurposed platform. That being said, it does look good.

The platform this model is built on was created to accommodate both ICE and EV powertrains.

My first car was a 208, second car 2008 and my upcoming 3rd car is going to be an e-2008. All of which had small steering wheels and I completely agree, it makes the car respond very quickly to the slightest movement. Akin to a go kart.
