This set was the very first set of lenses I ever owned. I still have them, but I've been shooting a ton with the Sirui anamorphic lenses. This excellent video reminds me that I need to shoot with these Kiev lenses again! You've reminded me that these are great vintage lenses for narrative work. BTW, rear and front caps exist. Got mine from RAF Camera.

In my set all the 3 lenses have clicks in apperture. They are from 1977 and from Kiev-16UE (version with electric drive). And they are with front and rear cups. Yea, and the camera with it's leather case I owe as well. However I consider Vega 9 2/50 to be the best from those times. As for Vega 2/20 - it's my favorite for everyday on-the-way shots with Nikon V1.

I honestly don’t get that much use out of them because it takes the right project for me to want to get them out and deal with the tiny size. If you ever come across a project and could use a vintage vibe and would want to try them out maybe we can arrange something

Vega 9 doesn't have any thread, so I suppose it cant't be used with the same adaprer. It's very easy to make a DIY adapter for Vega 9. And Vega 9 is much better than Tair-41 for full-body-, groop-, architecture- and vehicle-shots.

Find someone who’s got some gun oil! That’s what I used and it loosened up a fair bit. The lenses do extend slightly when you focus so if you can put like a drop of gun oil in them and maybe get a Q tip and work it into the mechanism that could work! Just put on the oil and turn the focus ring back and forth a bunch. If it’s bad enough it could be worth getting the lenses serviced

In short. Using 35mm lense on mft is watse of the lenses. ( Only using 25% of the image circle/Or 2x crop ) using 16mm television lens is waste of the sensor. ( Basically what you shoot isn't mft anymore , more like 10-12 mp 1 inch sensor)

None of those lens make sense , just stick with olympus lens. Mft is a great system. But when come to adapted lens. They suck
