The Perfect Solution to Fix Social Security (that NO ONE is talking about)

There is an easy fix for Social Security that requires no tax increases or benefit cuts. Why is NO ONE talking about this?!?
Proponents of this strategy see it as a way to avoid raising taxes and avoid cutting benefits to mid-and lower-income retirees. At the very least, Universal Social Security benefits certainly would be a departure from the current structure of the program.

Let's start taking all of our leaders paycheck raises and deduct a big portion of them to pay back what they've taken out of it. They don't need to make hundreds of thousands every year when the rest of us don't make as near as much. it will humble them to realize the difficulties that the rest of us are constantly facing and put money back into social security that they've taken out for things that it wasn't supposed to be used for. And even then those currently receiving benefits will most likely not be a part of this proposal. Devin stated that it might only be for those who are currently in their 40s. And YES previous Congresses in relation to stimulus were EXTREMELY slow and really didn't help all that much either in providing enough assistance due to the virus because of the virus or in stimulating the economy. It looks like... Emphasis on "It looks like" Biden is working through each of his promises. So far, so good. I appreciate the fact that the House is using one of their nine uses of Budget Reconciliation. I wish they would have included multiple checks coming to the American people until the end of the virus or at least until the end of the year.

By making a change, even one that doesn't happen completely for at least 30 years, it will make income available for all rather than what was happening before SSA was implemented which was absolutely nothing. People had no choice but to rely on friends and family. Most often, older citizens were penniless. So it's not socialism... it's reality. The choice remains, help everyone or help no one.

She will be receiving over $2,000 for her Social Security Retirement, because she is working until her full retirement age. How is this fair, that the people that have worked consistently hard, for Many! Many! Years, get the same amount of money, as the LAZY ONES!!! I have another brilliant idea!! How about only the people that have many years, of consistent work history and have actually paid into the retirement system, get Social Security Retirement? And the lazy people, that have barely worked, don't get anything! That will definitely save the Social Security Administration money!! STOP GIVING TO THE MOOCHERS AND START REWARDING THE HARD WORKING PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was one of the folks that wanted to know more about this before commenting...I was brought up under the the traditional philosophy that you should plan your retirement strategy around the basic pillars of pensions, investment/savings, and Social Security. Altering a primary component of that strategy in my retirement strikes me as a betrayal of the social contract my government made with me when they began involuntarily extracting social security taxes from both myself and my employer. That was money earned over a lifetime of work that could have been directed more profitably elsewhere. That said, I understand the fatal flaw in relying in our political leadership (either party) to provide a viable solution...so here are my thoughts: 1. The multi-decade phase suggests a sufficient glide slope for those currently in retirement and have been fortunate enough to realize their financial goal with the existing social security program. 2. The long range implementation goal appears to provide those in pre-retirement with time to adjust their ultimate financial targets when they decide to stop working.

Here's a summary of some research I did on the history of a quest for a global government, & how it ties in to the current state of affairs! BINGO on your comment as that is the plan as my summary shows. ANYTIME the word UNIVERSAL is used, it references a universal or global plan!! Once we get re-educated & armed with knowledge, it's easier to see this & connect the dots! Universal anything is NOT good! I shared my summary before & after the 2020 election hoping to enlighten others with info, that sheds light on everything! ............ Long ago, a few greedy ELITE families took the writings of a few infamous visionaries on how to achieve world domination and a global government, and started a quest to make it a reality. The elite used those writings as their manifesto and gradually, began building an establishment that would serve their purpose. Over time, they would control education & the press/media & is why much of our REAL HISTORY has never been taught, or reported by news sources. By the late 1800's, at least 9 governments fell under some form of control including our own & by 1889, ALL 9 helped two men--a Brit & a Frenchman--form the FIRST & OLDEST global political org in the world called the, INTER-PARLIAMENTARY UNION, (IPU). You want to know WHY our politicians don't do anything for us? Look no further than the IPU since that org to date, controls GLOBAL LEGISLATION in all governments in the world for the purpose of bringing all nations under the same Democratic Socialist System, or global government. By 1904, although the quest for a global government was already underway, congress officially proposed it during the IPU's 12th annual assembly ipu.org/ipu-assemblies held here in the USA!! They also proposed/suggested that the IPU would be the governing body for it which lends to no surprise that it controls legislation globally!! By 1917, the time came to take control of the American Press which was written about in their manifesto. So, our controlled congress conspired with the elite for a takeover & a decision was made for JP Morgan(one of the elite's seeking a global govt) to takeover the top 25 newspapers in America, according to congressional archives. This allowed them to CONTROL what THEY reported, & CONTROL what the people believed to be the truth--their words, not mine! This was the birth of FAKE NEWS!! So you see, not only was there a plan to control the news one day, it actually happened in 1917 & the SWAMP was involved. When Trump called out the FAKE NEWS and the SWAMP, he was giving us a history lesson!! By the 1940's, education became part of the "Management System" & they were able 2 suppress much of these historical facts moving forward which is why most of us alive today, have never heard of the IPU, the takeover of the news or that our government is controlled and only passes global legislation! The other aspect & most important reason for controlling education was so that an entire generation could be indoctrinated into accepting a global government, just as the global org, UNESCO, has stated on their website. That was one of the first things Pres. Trump addressed after taking office, & quickly got us out of that hideous org! I didn't understand at the time why that was so important for him to address, but now I do. When Fox failed to report the stern warning issued to congress right after the 2016 election, I walked away from the msm & that's when I learned about the history of the takeover, but also that the Fox mogul, Rupert Murdock, was a self-proclaimed socialist from Oxford where he and 1,000's of other select individuals received indoctrination in socialism through a special program set up by the elite. Upon graduating, those same individuals would then be placed in positions in society where they would serve to further the global agenda. Just this past summer, while most Americans were distracted by the usual daily narrative by the msm or the swamp, a sitting U.S. Senator, Ted Cruz, traveled to Oxford to speak, even in the midst of an alleged crisis!! Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Chris Christie, John Kasich--basically the whole 2016 republican lineup of presidential candidates, were also speakers at Oxford this year along with folks like Fauci and Gen. M.C. McMaster!! Quite the lineup of puppets on stage at a school known for indoctrinating folks in socialism & yet, not a peep from the msm(no surprise) or the individuals themselves. My last thought is to explain exactly how congress + a puppet president(both parties) normally works in the USA. First, to work on global legislation for the IPU, congress must first pass a bill that is then signed by the puppet president that pays annual dues & allows them to work with the IPU which then puts us on their member map. www.ipu.org/national-parliaments If you notice, we are not currently shown as a member, nor have we been since Trump has been president since he is truly an outsider & opposed to the global agenda and never signed a bill to put us on the map. Anyhow, normally once we become a member of the IPU, congress then works on legislation for them, disguised as American policy and regardless of whether a bill is presented from the dems or the GOP(it's all for show to benefit us) it gets passed & signed by the puppet president and the PEOPLE are no wiser that our government just passed global legislation which sets us up for this global government being sought!! When Koch sent congress the warning not to help Trump's MAGA agenda, he knew that they would not be able to work on global legislation as long as Trump was president, & he wanted to make sure they knew that no one would be indispensable if they decided to help Trump! That warning made perfect sense why the phony hearings & investigations followed as it served as the perfect excuse not to be able to help him, without being exposed for the first time in history for not really working on American policies such as what Trump represented with his MAGA agenda!! Biden is a perfect example of trying to pass global policy as his own & how past presidents have done, by claiming that Universal Healthcare as HIS policy when in fact it's really global legislation, and unbeknownst to the public. The IPU adopted a resolution for Universal Healthcare in Oct. 2019 for ALL NATIONS to have by 2030, the latest NWO timeline, so this is NOT a Biden policy, but rather global legislation! www.ipu.org/news/press-releases/2019-10/ipu141-assembly-adopts-first-parliamentary-resolution-achieve-health-coverage-all-2030 Once a puppet(Biden) is back in the white house, a bill will get signed that puts us back on the member map, then congress + Biden will put global legislation through, with this resolution being the current policy on the table. The IPU has also been pushing Universal Basic Income and a Green Economy but I haven't seen a resolution yet for either. We've heard politicians like AOC calling for a Green New Deal which is basically the IPU's, Shades of Green & I think it was Yang calling for Universal Basic Income....These politicians are pushing global policy disguised as American legislation, and the Americans are no wiser, & this deception has been taking place for decades!!! The virus hoax was the final straw & is being used to destroy the current system & rebuild it with Universal Healthcare, Universal Basic Income & a Green Economy, & FINALLY usher in the NWO. The IPU even began a crisis recovery campaign for this that they call, BUILD BACK BETTER. www.ipu.org/event/webinar-building-back-better-lessons-covid-19-pandemic-enhance-role-parliaments-in-disaster-risk-reduction Biden even used this as his presidential campaign slogan remember? They put it in our face but only because they know we are ignorant as to the truth. Trump KNOWS the truth and he gave us crumbs & expected us to do the research. In 1890, one year after the IPU was formed, Cecil Rhodes declared that within 100-years they will succeed in forming a world government. That expired in 1990 at the exact same time George Bush first spoke openly about a NWO. It was quickly swept under the rug & is now deemed a conspiracy theory, because folks don't know real history and have no way to defend the truth & prove that it's very real, just as Trump has tried to warn us!! The UN was used soon after the 100-year plan expired in 1990 & extended it first w/Agenda 21, and again later with Agenda 2030. If 2030 is the final timeline for a NWO, there's not much time left to expose it. The 2020 election was about the final leg of the NWO & getting Trump out & a puppet back in who will then use this virus hoax to complete the agenda in America that Trump halted with his presidency! Besides education, the MEDIA & TV programming have all done a number on our minds in order to CONVINCE us of their LIES. Trump is the ONLY person 2 ever challenge the GLOBAL AGENDA which is WHY he's been portrayed horribly-unlike anyone before him-& why they couldn't afford another 4-years of him, as he disrupted their agenda. -Take care

In the old days it was so cheap to live. 200 dollars to have a baby, including the hospital bill. We had blue cross blue shield insurance which we paid 12.50 for every 3 months (private insurance) ( happened upon a receipt the other day) Bought a house for 23,000 dollars (new) and still live in it today. Welfare has messed up all private dealings and when insurance came along it screwed up the whole works. Don't even mention how the government screwed everything up. But, my salary was 150.00 a month and husband was thrilled when his salary went to 100 a week. Wow, then along came the house with that. LOL

After typing a long reply, I deleted it as pointless. The pointless part is lost on anyone who excuses themselves or their view from the equitability of their solution. It reminds me of a discussion with a criminal attorney who told me “no, we’re not looking for the truth. We’re looking for facts.” It sounds smart at first, until you realize that you can have facts without having truth, but truth IS fact. Saying you can forcibly separate a person from their earnings based on how much they earn, then penalize them at payment time because they had higher earnings is beyond unfair. How can you do it? Like a lawyer... eliminate the word in the equation that doesn’t excuse your participation in the crime. “Fair” is the “truth” that has to go. Imagine how long the deleted post was....

That a government that has placed itself into near-insurmountable debt is trying to beat up people who have been financially responsible is hard for me to understand. Politicians who get rich while professing to help others are just helping themselves, and you can bet they won’t be retiring on Social Security. That lower income voters haven’t seen and reacted to that is a mystery... it’s been decades. Again “mice die because they don’t understand why the cheese is free.” It’s a crying shame of a situation, and needs to stop. Sorry for the sermon. :)

I've paid my fair share into the system. I went from being able to lead a life where my basic necessities were covered and could afford to go out to dinner once a month and with a little savings could go spend the weekend at a local campground or other weekend trips. Now, I struggle to buy food and medications. I can't afford to live in an apartment but made the financial decision to live in my RV full-time. It's less expensive but I didn't want to become homeless. My kids helped buy the RV. Studio apartments in my area run approx $1,000 a month plus utilities. With living in the RV, renting a spot during the winter runs $350 a month and includes utilities. With the age of my RV, we won't be able to stay at the same spot. It's over 10 years old. Next winter, if I cannot find a place I can afford, I'll need to do what is called dry camping. Will need to increase the amount of money needed for propane and gasoline to run a generator to keep the fridge going. Will have to haul water 1-2 a week. I'm not physically capable of doing the water hauling so will be looking now for a space to rent where I can get to my doctor within a 12-14 hour drive. I don't mind getting the same amount as everyone else, but I am concerned that it will not cover what is needed to take care of basic necessities. Praying for the next couple of years. I really don't want to be in a cold climate since it causes more pain when it's cold outside. All I can do is pray and vent every now and then to help keep the fear at bay. Thanks for letting me vent.

@@beasst55 Those of us with older RVs are going to find it more difficult to find a place due to the 10-year rule. The only way to survive right now is to budget your money down to the penny. Write it down. KEEP to it. If it's not in the budget, it doesn't happen. I understand being a worrier. I am as well. That budget has become like my second Bible. The first obviously being the actual Bible. One thing that helps me through is knowing that God helps those who help themselves. Call Social Security or look on Devin's Cheat Sheet to find out how much you can earn while on the particular program you are on. I'm on disability and can earn up to $1000 a month before having the benefits decreased. The difficulty comes with finding something I can do with my disabilities. I transcribe. Right now it adds an average of about $50 a month, but that amount covers medication and increases the amount spent on groceries and other basic necessities. I was so proud when I had earned enough to get a new pair of tennis shoes that didn't have cardboard as the sole. Far way down from a $35.00 an hour job to what I have today. I think God might have wanted to teach me a lesson in humility from lives before. There are quite a few places you can work from home at. A great resource I found is ratracerebellion.com. I don't get anything from making this referral. Remember though, that you should not send any money for a job. If you decide to work a new business (and there are many of those) you might need to put up some money in the beginning and there is no guarantee that you will be successful. Good luck to you. If you like, stay in touch. I'll be happy to be a sounding board. I've tried so many different things to make a little extra money.

It's not changed since then. The rule is specifically to prevent someone from claiming a homestead. Evidently, quite a few people have tried to do that. I don't know about anyone else, but I would hate to live in an RV during the winter in the mountains where it can get below zero on many nights. That's one of the reasons I move south during the winter. I go north during the summer so I can see most of my kids, grandkids, and great-grands.
