The Perfect Push Button Switch For Any Bike // Revival Tech Talks

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Cleaning up your motorcycle's cockpit is a must for custom builds. We're incredibly excited to release Revival's first in-house designed and manufactured product, the Type 1 Push Button Switch Housing. After years of trial and error, we concluded that no push-button switch housings on the market came close to meeting our standards, so we developed our own that have precisely the fit, finish and usability that constitutes the "perfect" switch.

As a 50yr veteran motorcycle rider this is about the best switch improvement I have come across. Definitely will buy and try. Brilliant design and functionality. Well done guys.

Thanks for all of the videos lately! Would you all be able/willing to do a video showing your process of creating a wire frame for a custom tank, fairing or cowl? I've seen them in the background of a lot of your videos and I would love to see the process.

That's a great idea, I'll bring up to the team. The technique is something we learned from Christian Sosa.

how complicated are these to install on newer bikes? I want to replace the plastic-y control on my thruxton RS -- is it just as simple as the M unit and connecting wires, or are there other canbus intricacies on newer bikes that make it more complex?

It's too complicated to explain here but it can be done using a series of specialized latching relays. Here's a link to a deeper explanation, wire diagram and parts list. revivalcycles.com/blogs/technical-articles/latching-switches-to-momentary-buttons-no-mo-unit

Please what is the max amp I can move through these switches?. I just need turn signals and a horn button. Should I plan to use relays? Thank you

These momentary switches are made to be used with ground signal wires only, the amperage for these is very low.

Do these work with bmw can bus wiring on R9T

Yes but not without the additional implementation of a couple of specialized latching relay modules. We've done it, it's not an entry level modification but it can be accomplished.
