Dembele will walk the championship

Saw this lad play the other week at Carlisle. Outstanding player and looked to have a great attitude. Extremely quick and skilful. Would easily step up to championship imho.

He'd be a brilliant signing. I still think back to Ravel Morrison and wished we'd put more faith in him. This lad has talent.

Don't taint the kid with that comparison. Ravel has achieved nothing at any of the clubs he has played for. Either before or after the Blades. He was a promising youngster who wasted his career, and he is completely to blame 😔

@@5heffPaul - I agree they're very different and that wasn't my comparison. Ravel had a tough background off the pitch and that undeniably played a part in his failure to launch a solid career. I don't completely blame him at all but my point was that I was all for giving him more of a shot at the time (obviously not now, lol). This lad has a different background and I'd love to see him given a shot too - that's the comparison. Not their journey/career. Very exciting prospect. I'd love to see him in a Blades shirt.

Another physically weak player .When will we get the message we need big, mobile, physically fit players who can win balls in the air, tackle and stay involved in the game. Until we recruit them we will continue to be out fought, out run and bullied by other teams.

Does have a bit of a Wilder "I can fix him" whiff about him but the football manager player in me really wants this to happen. Good shout.

Sounds a good player, but it's important in my view to remember that Wilder will probably go for loads of 30+ year old, British and Irish, free agents, and only for being able to play the 3-5-2. So this lad might be a good call if... IF... Wilder is prepared to reintroduce the Duffy role. If not, I doubt he'd be on Wilder's list

Good shout, doubt if Wilder would go for him, McAtee has regressed under CW but flourished under Hecky.

Comparing between league 1 and Championship/Prem?

I would say go wrexham for a year stay in league 1 see if he can improve on his numbers from last year. Everytime this guy has made the step up to the top leagues in his retrospective country. He's not looked like he has done in league 1

United need to play a 433 formation we need to take Rotherham goal keeper Viktor Johanson, also take defender Jaime MCcart, Stephen Humphrey, , Daley Campbell, Tyler Blackett.

He's a cracking player and we my be able to take him on loan as he's clearly too good for League One. I don't see Dembele as a McAtee replacement, I see him as the new Duffy, the winger who can come inside and play the #10 role when needs be. He may be short but when I've seen him play he holds his ground well and isn't easy to shove off the ball. I'd love to see us sign Dembele.

Yeah, I've been reading about him - sounds interesting and promising. Concerned about the Blades at the moment, with so many players leaving, but totally trust in Wilder to successfully gain a positive rebuild. Thanks for posting guys 👍✌️❤️

Sad to say not a Wilder signing. I would love to watch players like him each week but I fear Wilder wants big, strong, athletic pragmatic footballers (you know, cloggers). I hope I'm wrong as we do need some flair in the side to make it worth turning out to watch

the chance to buy players that can benefit united and provide future profit and change the direction of recent loses in playing pluses and financial profit we are seeing and end to missing good investing chances in the main. We need to get past keeping some players after the best by date asap

Uninspired. Not a Wilder signing. Need to build from the back, but even if looking for flair attackers I’d rather have someone like Griffin Yow or Lucas Assadi. Learn the names if you haven’t

Definitely not. He bounces off players. He gets up and carries on. He will get stronger as well. Got all the attributes to make a decent prem player eventually.

You may aswell give traore a chance then same player

Other than their skin colour, these players are completely different! 😂 Benie is 5ft 8in and plays predominantly as a striker. Kara is 6ft 2in and a winger. I like Benie and still think we could use him, but he is a tiny fella that is easily knocked off the ball. Kara is a much stronger physical presence, even at 21.
