Having the hunt so close to home made it so easy for the entire family to join in and dress the meat. The horses are such a necessity in your area, much more reliable than a 4x4 for getting around the difficult terrain. Love how happy Rose was to hear Sarah had been so successful and at the thought of more meat for the freezer.

I hunted with my father and grandfather when I was younger and it is one of the things I miss the most these days. They are both gone now and in my mid-40's I yearn to share this experience, just once with my teens. Quite a few years back I took my spouse and my very young son on a canoe trip to the Bowron lake circuit, such beautiful country! We live in the Key peninsula in Washington state !
