Most people don’t realize that Hops decided, on his own, to respect NFs style of not cursing and said in an interview that it was difficult. Not because of the not using foul language but, learning how to use his vocabulary and not using foul language as a crutch.

@@MrsRealistic Ye i grew up in the 60s n 70s with the hippie movement, prog rock then Glam rock over here so i never took to it, apart from Eminem of course but realise i might have missed out on some decent music being so biased😅

The line "got a group of loved ones that ain't my friends" is likely a reference to the group of rappers that were initially on the same record label as Hopsin, there was a big falling out to say the least.

If you do, ill mind 5 by hopsin. Do Upchurch's remix of the song. Both are 🔥. More NF, please. Starting from the beginning will help understand Nate better.

I love that blood covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. Thanks for sharing that. It makes so much sense, particularly in light of scripture. What Jesus said to the disciples that his family is the folks that obey His commands, not the blood relatives.

The Balloons are your burdens that you carry. And hopsin is talkikg about his wife and kid that left him and they hate him, along with other members of his family that he cut off cause they were only in it for his weath and fame over him. NFs songs are a story from the beginning to the end. You have to losten to then in order to understand the references in the other songs, along with the symbolism he puts.

Not spoiling for the black balloons! Enjoy the journey with NF ! Not sure money is saving you from the heavy burdens and bad days. Money can distract you for a while but ... Best mght be to connect to your soul and accept the human part so that you build a consciousness and grow the Love that we are all given .

So I see someone already spoiled the balloons meaning which is unfortunate. He straight up tells you exactly what the balloons are in the song "The Search" if you actually watch the music video and pay attention, however I've only seen one reactor actually catch it honestly. I know you haven't reacted to The Search yet but you really should. I absolutely love NF and all he stands for and in my opinion it's his best song next to "Hope" though it's not a normal song exactly. There's no chorus cause it's basically the same as he does on every album with the first song. Anyway, just by the song you seem to have liked the most of his, I'd say this one might be your number one as well after you hear it

Didn't know did #NF lol possible have seen react before, watch a lot of reactions, plus most the time get on here it's late at night and been drinking lol, you and your husbands reactions to "to be a man" definitely some of most memorable out of all of um seen. NF is an amazing artist tho, Hopsin has some good stuff too, but how I came across NF is pretty crazy, my gf from when I was like 19 which was r*ped by 2 guys...got into heroin n whatnot, she reached out to me like 10 yrs later n she told me about him, she was poisoned with fentanyl by her husband that was released early from prison bc BS c*vid crap... messed up, but to add the black balloons are symbolism of his burdens, his videos and whatnot are like a big story line with many meanings and whatnot, almost like a autobiography of his life or something. The #NFjourney is pretty wild

I tried Hopsin and tech-9 after their collab with NF but i found they brought their best A game with NF. They both chose not to curse when working on an NF track. When you go listen to their own stuff it's way too vulgar for me I'm not sensitive. I can listen to Tom McDonalds raps even with the cussing because it's for effect and not just crass. That's just me. Hopsin is too vulgar for me

  • @MrsRealistic

Yeah I don't mind cursing as long as it's not over the top or vulgar. Like, I can't even listen to Cardi B for 5 seconds because she's disgusting and crass.
