Belgium is a small and densely populated country covering an area of 11,787 sq miles (the size of the state of Maryland) and has a population of 11.5 million.
60% of the Belgian population speak Dutch (often referred to as Flemish), and 40% of the population speak French.
And English is spoken as a second (or is it a 3rd?) language by nearly a third of the population.

2:27 The history of Everaard 't Serclaes is way more complicated than that. In 1356 he lead an attack on the city of Brussels which had been occupied by the Count of Flanders (Brabant and Vlaanderen were 2 different countries back then) , defeated the enemy and liberated the city.
