Hello, Curious as to how you are liking the Penguin chiller after some time. Mine has been a problem. Penguin in general and the chiller failed after 4 months. Sent it back and they replaced the pump. Got it back and the new pump is MUCH louder. Hope mine is an isolated case. Let me know. Thanks!

I really enjoy the chiller, but slightly over a year it barely pumps the water. Im quite upset based on the cost.

The chiller should not slow down. Restrictions and water flow that could come with the trap that leads into the chiller or a filter that goes back into the cold tub should all be checked. I probably clean mine every six weeks and it keeps the water flowing extremely fast. If those didn’t work, just send Penguin a message because they’ve been great with responding to me. Anytime I needed help. Please report back and let me know!

Good EYE! That is an ozone generator I run if once in awhile if I have a lot of people using the barrel!

@@cfolise5125 JED Engineering makes it. JED 303 is the ine we are using for cold plunges now. I drilled a hole into he barrel and the diffuser stone sits in the bottom. I probably use it like 1 x a week to sterilize the water or leave it on overnight if I have an ice bath party. chestfreezercoldplunge.com/product/jed303/
